Runcam Legacy

Go this cam for FPV because it’s lighter than my Insta360. This app looked promising, but the camera won’t recognize the QR code no matter what I try. Stupid way to do it anyway. No reason why they didn’t have it connect via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or even the provided usb cable to a pc to change settings. Not being able to do that and set the shutter speed makes the camera useless to me. App also crashes when contacting support. Seems like actual QA/testing was not done. Fix the app and/or the hardware.

I had the same issue expressed by others on connecting to the app when I purchased two years ago. Sad to see that since then the same issues persist.

I play airsoft and I’ve been wanting a run cam scope cam 2 4k for awhile now. I finally get one and can’t even use the app because this outdated and horrible app won’t connect to the camera. I’ve read the manual and read forums and got it to connect once and then the video preview shows purple and blur streaks that are recorded when using the apps record button. But if I don’t use the app and record from the camera I have no issues with the video. Close out the app and reopen and can’t connect the camera without issues. So how am I supposed to mess with any settings when using a broken app that won’t connect half of the time. Fix your buggy app that everyone hates and fix the UI to make it less of a hassle to actually use. Extremely disappointed

After reading some of the reviews I see that a lot of people are having this issue, the last update made to this app was 2 months ago, figure it out.

Had issues connecting, got connected, but it took forever. And the video doesn’t rotate. The functions you would want there aren’t there.

Works sometimes when I can get it to connect…. Will not let me record….. not too sure why this is but it is a real pain… then if it connects it will tell me “no SD card!!! Well it has worked in the past but no longer works. Thanks a lot. Stupid expensive camera and it’s more of a paper weight at this point…..

The app is so laggy and when I try to change the settings it keeps crashing

I bought an expensive runcam 4k cam but when connected to the app the app always freezes.

I tried using this app with the scope cam plus but the app and the camera crash way too much to be usable. Unfortunate but best to avoid.

i spent 150 bucks on the run cam 2 just for the app to absolutely refuse to preview my camera
