Rybun

I live this app and use it daily. Unfortunately, for a couple of days my TL will not update, and will just continuously try to load. I logged out to log back in to see if that would fix the issue, and now the app won’t email me a code so I can login.

the app is still a little slow, but the founder is very active and responsive to issues!! while it is missing some functionality and features that are loved on twitter (posting videos, gifs, DMs) — they are currently looking into adding these!!

this app is a great alternative to the bird app! in comparison #that app’s algorithm, Rybun’s algorithm is so much better! you only see who you follow, none of that “for you” crap that spews a bunch of irrelevant junk on the timeline. so all i see are other ARMYs and BTS down my timeline 🫂. the only cons i have to Rybun is the fact that there aren’t many features such as direct messaging, editing a status, being able to mute keywords, etc.

considering it’s a fairly new app, there is things that need to be worked on but for the most part it’s so amazing as a twitter alternative !

I have found no way to cancel the account once you sign up. I have found this is not a good fit for me, yet I cannot cancel my account so that I am removed from the app.

I just want to delete my account please, I don’t have enough storage

The block feature doesn’t work, there’s no option to mute words/phrases, and i keep seeing people using slurs in their usernames. I like the app but unless something changes with those specific issues, i see the platform getting more and more toxic by the day.

This is a great twitter alternative it been really fun so far. I know this is a small app (and y’all app devs are doing great) but In the future I’d love to see the ability to see DMs and write threads!
