Terrible app. Such a clunky payment system, the amount of steps to make a payment is so excessive. No link to Apple Pay either

Works OK for me - better than web with categories rather than just a long list. Please add Apple Pay

And here again another year of Scopay not working on iPhone. Doesn’t take card number, doesn’t take Apple Pay. Never worked. Basically it’s useless.

I was wrong when I thought this app couldn’t get more annoying!

Shockingly bad. Every single time I try to add funds I authorise with my bank and then the app freezes and won’t let me go any further. Daughter has just missed getting lunch as I had been trying 20 minutes to top up her balance. Happens every time. Please sort it out

The aim of the app is to be able to deal with child’s school bills on your phone. App won’t allow you to login- always says ‘login not available’ or if on website on phone, you can’t actually check out, again another error message. Had app for over a year, tried on different iPhones too but cannot get it to work. Website on a laptop works well. App now being deleted permanently. Schools pay a huge amount of money to use these payment software companies and clearly SCOPAY are not interested in making improvements as despite years of poor reviews, nothing has changed.

It used to be fairly straightforward to top up my daughter’s card for school dinners with the app but lately it’s been really slow till it’s been impossible to complete any payment with the app requiring me to go online to pay for school trips or top up her card. Frustrating to say the least.

Terrible at everything. I can’t put stuff in a basket and then pay for it like EVERY OTHER APP - no, I need to work out how much everything will cost before I can add it to my basket, then add that amount of money to the account, and only when I have added enough funds will it allow me to put stuff in the basket. Totally pointless, it was easier to write cheques and fill in paper forms! It also won’t let me order meals in any current month, only future months. So when we are given the menu before half term I’m unable to order meals for the week they return to school. Absolute rubbish. Also entering card details every single time is so tedious. If only there was an alternative I would use it but they have us over a barrel.

This app is atrocious, convoluted way of paying, no Apple Pay / Google pay option. No PayPal - get with it it’s 2023 FFS ! The app freezes when you’ve come out to approve a card transaction in your banking app, banks only ask for approval from un trustworthy apps, that says it all !! The essential parts of this app are so basic in their feature sets there is literally no excuse for the VERY poor performance.

User interface is awful when inputting details. Dark grey on black?! No confirmation that an event you have selected is confirmed. Help ‘?’ And 3 line stacked menu in top corners don’t always work Having to top up your balance before you select dates? Nowhere does that happen! You don’t pay for you shopping and then go round the shop and put it in your trolley. Just backwards architecture. Ways to make this app better: - Option to select multiple events and then pay as a bulk at the end - change the colours of the fonts when entering card details etc to more user friendly colours - confirmation email or something in the app that shows the event you have selected has been confirmed and you have a place
