SDPB App:
The South Dakota Public Broadcasting App allows you to listen to South Dakota Public Broadcasting Radio and Television, pause and rewind the live radio audio, and view the program guide all at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to SDPB with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from SDPB even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for all the SDPB streams!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to SDPB in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
On Demand
• Access SDPB’s programs easily and quickly.
• DVR-like controls. Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease.
• When listening to programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one or listen to the entire program.
• Easy to access past programs.
• The SDPB App displays the web page associated with the program or program segment you are listening to On Demand so you can explore for more information.

• The unique “Search Public Radio” feature finds stories or programs across hundreds of stations and web pages and makes it easy to play instantly.
Additional features
• Easily share stories and programs with family and friends via the “Share” button.

Very useful and handy. I listen every day.
Great way to keep up on news and fun programs
I listen to the daily news wherever I am, then find podcasts from other shows to listen to when I have time. Good stuff!

I find this app useful. I use it on a daily basis.
Great PBS station
South Dakota’s best! Gary Overholt makes it so, always very professional with just enough SD humor and puns to know it is South Dakota you are listening to. Also the time, Central & Mountain is always a stitch. It has been 20 years since I lived in SD, yet I tune in most days.
Great resource!
This app is a much-needed supplement to SDPB radio. I travel throughout the state and know just where the radio coverage will fade out. Now, the app eliminates the periods of “dead air” when I’m hoping to listen to my favorite programs. My spouse likes to be able to take it with as he’s getting ready in the morning. Thanks for this valuable service!

Works very nicely
Certainly works for me.
Doesn't work
Replaced the old app, and it worked for a few days. Now it doesn't, and neither does the stream. Love my SDPB but their online presence leaves much to be desired.
When it was hip to be hep I was hep
Very handy app. Hit a button and in 10-15 seconds the hot and cool sounds of Jazz Nightly with Karl Gehrke are sailing through the air wherever I am! I don't blow but I'm a fan, popping my thumbs, digging the drums.
