Seatfrog: Rail Journey Planner

No apple or google pay developers should be sacked. It’s not 2002. Had to waste 5mins adding details. Rubbish

So frustrating when an app has constant errors and then tells you it must be your internet connection. Trying to swap train ticket, gets through to the ‘select the desired train’ stage, but just says something went wrong and to check my internet connection. Everything else on my internet is working fine, it’s your app that’s glitchy and unstable

It’s about the most useless app on the planet.

I’m sorry I don’t really like the £3 platform fee I will reset judgement as to whether I’m lucky with a bid

Today I made the mistake of buying a ticket from Bridgend to Heathrow via Paddington. The Seatfrog ticket couldn't be read by the optical reader at Bridgend Station or at London Paddington. Station staff were kind enough to help me but I was so embarrassed! What on earth are you playing at, Seatfrog?

Great way to upgrade

have bid for a train from KX to Newcastle and I simply viewed the train from Newcastle to London KX and I was asked to confirm “got it” button to say that I was aware that I could book tickets through the site and now it has transferred my bid from the return journey to my outbound journey when I have NOT entered a bid or submitted for this Journey. Can you clarify ? I do NOT want to pay £47 for an upgrade to KX tomorrow

This is a brilliant way of treating yourself to a first class seat !!

Hi there a few things that you could tweak a little bit are when you win your bid it would be nice to have your First class ticket to add to Apple wallet or google wallet

I have used the app for a while now and do enjoy it. Can get decent priced upgrades for LNER. Sadly I cannot give them full stars because their refund/change policy is so strict. Even train operators are not realising that people have unexpected things happen and need to change trains days or times. However, seatfrog is still so strict. Absolutely no way to change your upgrade or refund it. It’s a shame. Also the fees for £3 per booking can be quite a bit. When you consider the only service is you paying for an upgrade.
