Texter is a private phone number app specifically designed for iPhone to protect the sender's privacy. It is a simple and inexpensive way for those who need a disposable number to send or receive text messages and make calls around the world. No contracts, transparent fees, absolute privacy.

Using your second phone number with Texter is super-simple. Purchase a number, recharge credits, and start messaging and calling.
TRANSPARENT FEES
Texter messaging and calling fees are as transparent as possible. By using the in-app Tariff calculator, you can check the cost per outgoing and incoming calls or messages based on a specific country.
UNRESTRICTED OWNERSHIP
Purchase and keep your number for as long as you need or dispose of it anytime.
NO ADS
The app doesn't bother you with any advertisement and never shares any of your data. No exceptions!

Texter is free to download and comes with 20 free credits. Phone numbers and additional credits are available through subscriptions and in-app purchases.
Our standard Subscription Options for phone numbers are weekly, monthly and yearly.
If you choose to get one of our plans then your payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal depends on your Subscription Plan.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
When canceling a subscription, your subscription will remain active until the end of the period. Auto-renewal will be disabled but the current subscription will not be refunded.
IMPORTANT: Messages use prepaid credits. Area code availability varies. May not work with SMS shortcode services. Not for 911 or other emergency services.
Text messaging to UK and US numbers is unavailable (UK, US, PR, VI, Guam, and American Samoa).
Text messaging is not available in Africa (Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, The Democratic Republic Of The Congo, Cote D’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mayotte, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Reunion Island, Rwanda, Sao Tome And Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, United Republic Of Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Western Sahara, Zambia, Zimbabwe) and Dominican Republic.

‘Private Texting by Texter’ is a SCAM - STAY AWAY!
App claims to let you text from a 2nd number, doesn’t say it doesn’t work within the U.S. until AFTER you pay for a ‘plan’. The United States is NOT listed as a country where this app can not be used but that is what happens. This app is a SCAM - STAY AWAY !! Complaining to the App Store next to get app removed.
Don’t get this App
I tell you what if they know it’s not going to work calling an American number, and then sit there and have the same audacity to say because American laws they can’t call American, which is a lie. If that was the case. Apps like TextNow, Pinger, Next would be nonexistent too. This is a scam. They should be ashamed. I don’t really write reviews often but I’m gonna call this one out like I see it. Apple, I’m asking you to do something to get this scam of a company out of here for the hard-working Americans.
