I have a child, nearly four with Down syndrome, and have waited some time for downs ed to release the See and learn apps. I use the paper versions successfully with Theo but he prefers using the I pad for lessons. The interface has, as you would expect from specialists, a clear and easy to use interface that interests him without distracting him with lots of buttons or sounds. I can see thought has gone into the choice of words to practice and the program should be seen as a way to practice sounds rather than build up an extensive vocabulary. I have some query over the choice of words, it's difficult to Flashcards verbs ( picture of a slide for down ?). However it achieves it primary purpose. As to cost. It is expensive relative to cheapness of apps however I have easily spent £13 on apps that have proved useless. If expansion packs simply add to this platform then I will consider it money well spent. Do keep expanding it to other phonemes
