I use this app as an audiovisual service technician. I use it to clock in and out daily, which has always been reliable no matter signal quality. Unfortunately, there is no feature to go back and change when I clock in/out when I do forget to.
Another simple feature I would really appreciate would be notifications right when my boss assigns me tasks/jobs. Sometimes I check this app in the morning and there is nothing there. Three hours later, there is. Sometimes my managers are so busy, they forget to communicate that. A simple app notification would be great.
Theres a cool notes feature per job, but we frequent these locations often. Under info -> customer details, we are able to pull up all old job docs. It would be great if there was a notes tabs so we pull up all previous notes listed without visiting old jobs. That would help us scroll through tips while we revisit these sites.
Please add more features!
Room for improvement
The app overall is ok. My main gripe about the app is that I wish it would notify you when a job has been added. I don’t use the app day to day like our techs so I don’t check it often. Being notified of dispatch adding a job to me would be very beneficial.
NEEDS MORE DESKTOP FEATURES
The mobile app is very limited.
Biggest complaint is no Dark mode for both desktop and mobile. We are in 2024 and don’t like being blinded by the bright white light all the time.
Also, in mobile it’s frustrating having to click “more” if I want to keep scrolling for customers. Just show all of them at once!

App is pretty bad
I certainly wish that service fusion in general would be better, but this app is next to useless. For what we pay there should be massive enhancements to everything but especially the app. I haven’t noticed a single upgrade in the multiple years we’ve had this program except the price. It’s just barely more than an app just to say you have an app as part of your software.
Needs improvement
I’m reading the reviews, I wonder if “you” are? Because my issues with the desktop, and technician, are the same problems I'm having. Start reading, and get fixing. If it takes more than a month to issue a resolution for a bug, then you’re really not worth our time.

Really good, but definite room for improvement.
The whole Service Fusion desktop program and mobile app are great, overall. But I’m in a position where I need many of the desktop browser features, while on the road, and it’s just not made for this.
There is no Mobile Browser usability to speak of, and the app features are so restricted (even with full permissions) that it’s literally only suitable for the technician to get the job at hand done.
Any feature requests or general bug reporting can only be submitted from the desktop browser, making it impossible for the field technician to submit them with an accurate description.
For the stereotypical service manager chained to the office, and mindless worker-bee field techs, this is golden. But things can definitely be improved for more adaptability.
Current review of App
Good app. Works well when I have service. Would be nice to incorporate a offline mode that’ll sync up once I have service again, even if I had to hit a dedicated sync button.
Problems
With the latest update it does not allow me to take photos from my photo gallery even if I have all the access permissions, now I have to do it one by one.
