Shaadi.com: Matchmaking App

For marriage it’s a good platform but so many flaws that I don’t see how the company is improving!! You have to pay to get to see the messages! Even after being a “platinum” member for more than 10 months, I don’t see ANY perks of spending my money here!! Your editing to the profile description takes days to go live! No matter if you are a platinum member! So many times my edits were not published unless I wrote them in “help” section and they approved it instantly! They start offering “vip” and “select” options for a huge amount of money! In addition there’s a feature to hide fotos and allow with only those who are connected with you but WHO WILL CONNECT IF YOU ARE NOT SHOWING FACE!?? That’s the only thing you are looking for in an app!! So dumb feature! So many Divorced girls hide fotos and then send invitations hoping that guy would be so desperate and accept it just because it’s SAYS it’s a GIRL! But in the fact there might be her brother, father or another relative that you don’t even aware of!! The people send you request to “connect” and if you don’t want to accept for the time being, ANY time it can pop up INSTANTLY and you end up pressing “allow all” and boom!!! You can’t UNDO!! If you reject, that’s FOREVER!!! Person gets notified that you REHECT THEM and I feel that’s bad for the person!! really bad way of saying no!! This is how they work! I would not recommend this site/app unless they improve it! Moreover there are SO MANY fake profiles!! Beware!! Updates- One more fake profile encountered. Unfortunately can’t take screenshots and when you catch them, they UN match so all goes away, and you have NO proof!! Even a hk up app like tinder has person verification with original person and verification, while for MARRIAGE like serious thing, “Shaadi” has NOTHING remotely reliable thing in place!

Good app. Very user friendly easy to use. Alert and search features inc surprise me are amazing. To wish more would be to edit the profile and self pictures to add or delete or make profile pictures using iphone would be great. In general good app and service.

MONEY WASTE

I would start by saying, worst platform ever. I opted for 3 month premium subscription in the hopes that the team will be of help with navigating through this important journey. A BIG MISTAKE. The app remains essentially the same with no suggestion, no consultation, and no recommendations that I would say was sent after investigating some time( these are normal profiles you come across yourself).

Scam don’t buy subscription shows wrong information before you buy the subscription and after buying everything changes what they were showing before subscription

The new interface is terrible. Please switch back to the old interface.

Please switch to old style environment, now its look like a Tinder app. Old people can’t understand swipe left or swipe right meaning, it is confusing for them. Make it simple and clean. Thanks

Fraud app membership is too expensive . They don’t even deserve one star

I regret subscribing to VIP Shaadi. Before I signed up, they made all sorts of promises about how great the service was, but after paying $700 for a 4-month subscription, it has been nothing but disappointment. It's been over 3 months, and not a single meeting has been scheduled by my consultant. When I tried to cancel and get a refund, I was told there was no cancellation policy, something I was never informed of beforehand. They assured me that my consultant would be updated and that they'd escalate the process, but nothing changed. I spent weeks following up, but all I got were delays and excuses. My time and money were completely wasted. Names of the consultants assigned to me were Deepak and Nikhil, who did nothing to improve the situation. I ended up getting better responses with a basic subscription. Do not waste your time or money with VIP Shaadi!
