I’m new to the Shakti mat. My first session was a great experience. The app makes for a wonderful guide as the cadence and voice provide a soothing and calming experience. I look forward to continuing the journey.

At first it’s intense. After a few weeks it starts calling you back to help relieve the stress and tension of the day, week or moments that need attention. It becomes a meditative and relaxing state. You fell better. The mind is clearer and you can’t wait to do it again. There are times it’s still seems to intense even after a year of use but it never last more than a minute. Breath through it and the reward is just around the corner. The tension starts to unfold you start to relax and you are on your way to recovery. I love my mat.

My wife got me a Shakti mat for my birthday recently. It was love at first use. Now, having used it near daily for nearly 1 year (!), I am a full believer. I have never achieved better clarity, focus, and full-body relaxation in my life. I am truly amazed and grateful.

This has greatly helped my neurodivergent self with winding down. For my other neurodivergent folks out there who are extremely sensitive. I definitely recommend using this with clothes or a blanket first and gently warming up to it because it can be overstimulating at first. I feel a lot of blocked energy but can’t always afford to get acupuncture regularly. This has been a game changer.

I was encouraged to get a mat and pillow by an acquaintance. I love massages and acupuncture. This gives me the best of both worlds at home. My sleep has improved. I’m able to de-stress and unwind. I am very happy I actually listened.
