ShopThing: Live Fashion Shop

Just downloaded the app and couldnt help but realize that there’s no way to mute the videos. Unless you put your volume all the way down. It can be overwhelming especially if your prone to sensory overload. Kind of sucks if your on transport trying to listen to your music and shop. I love the set up and I’m happy they showcase items in videos. The set up is straight forward. There’s no search engine where you can write what your looking for either. It’s basically a social media app where to sell clothes. Proud of them! Just wanted to share my thoughts so they’re aware. Thank you!

I love this app and have purchased from here multiple times… that is when I could add items to wish list. In order to make the best decision on what to buy I would add desired items to a wish list then proceed to checkout. Now without this function I feel lost and can never find the items I wanted to buy, rendering the app quite useless.

I committed to a product (which was not easy, and not a small amount of money), placed an order that was non-refundable, received email communications about my order being processed and shipped, all to then receive an email the next day that my order is cancelled/refunded. When I inquired why, I received the response that my item was not able to be secured. A frustrating experience, and I have provided feedback that upon purchase, there should be disclaimers that share that when you purchase your item, it does not 100% mean you will receive it. This shows me that some sellers on this app are not reliable, and that the mutual agreement of a sale/purchase can be easily broken. With the right communication and expectation setting, I would not have been this disappointed.

Very confusing and not user friendly! You don’t have the option to search for an item and shop! They also have bad real reviews that made me delete my account and uninstall the app! Horrible

Same thing happened to me where I placed my order twice and still got a cancellation for both after weeks of placing and order confirmation! No ones there to help, pretty useless.

Terrible company that uses false advertising to entice you to buy and then completely ghosts you. They scammed me out of $900 and they refuse to acknowledge their wrongdoing. I’m a loyal customer who has spent thousands on their platform and have been shopping with them for years, yet when there is an issue they completely refuse to help or rectify the situation. Avoid at all costs.

REALLY COOL app — a bit finicky. On the initial screen I didn’t realize I first that I was switching between stylists. A mute button would be nice. Overall, love the concept! Oksana is incredible!

It doesn’t get better than this!

When I first followed them on IG it was great and I was buying loads of stuff. It slowly turned into a “consignment store/pre loved” app. It seems the American shoppers are getting more interesting items and NEW items whereas Canadians are just preloved and the same stuff repeated for seasons. If it’s any new never before seen stuff the Canadian shoppers are charging USD lol It seems like a “fancier” poshmark or depop where it’s closet items or preloved stuff only. I would also love to know how the closet items are actually verified since there’s no third party to check.

I take time out to literally monitor and hit buy as fast as I can and I feel that time lags, and I don’t even get notifications that a sale has started till later even though I hit the reminder button, it makes it a bit futile to have the vip subscription
