Users should be able to pick mobile or desktop before recording. Scrolling pages is a nag. The ui looks decent and does record actions. Being able to pass it scripts from shortcuts to run would be far more efficient since parameters can edited before being passed. In the age of ai this technology would be ground breaking making mobile device perform task using LLMs would be a breeze. I’m sure the Rabbit Ai learned a lot from this.
Ridiculous trial nag.
This app looks promising. Unfortunately, it is also immediately annoying. You can’t do anything for more than a minute without the app forcing a free 3-day trial. I’m happy to pay for it, if valuable but this is insidious. Some reviews indicate that it’s buggy so the trial is important. I’m a busy person and don’t know if I’ll have time to review it in the next 3 days. I have a few minutes here and there. Perhaps a full day to try before nagging and then a 3-day trial, on a per-day usage would be better. I am a developer and understand the need to be compensated, but this mechanism just chafes. My first interaction with the app is a nag. It’s unfortunate.
I hope to find a 3-day window when I can dedicate time to try it out. I also hope to update this review with wonderful statements of its usefulness. Until then I’m left soured.
DO NOT BUY. This does not work.
App is buggy, user-hostile, unreliable, and basically unusable. This is not functional software, and in its current state, should not be in the App Store.
Sometimes automations work. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they hang halfway through for no obvious reason. I had one where I needed it to ask me to specify a file to upload; after the first run, it stopped asking with no indication why. On that same automation, I had it entering text in a text field and uploading a file. Currently it only does one or the other. Sometimes after running, the app screen is oddly cropped.
This would be fantastic if it actually worked. In its current state, I’d barely call it a beta. Dev should remove it and actually finish it.
simple tool does the job (a few minor bugs)
I was looking for an app that could fill out a daily web form for me. This works!
I honestly spent hours looking for something like this, tried many things, and this little tool with no reviews was the only thing I could get to do the job! There are other alternatives out there, but they all seemed to require coding skills and were not free to use. This app designed for non-technical personal users like me. The integration with iOS shortcuts app works flawlessly! Nothing fancy, just does one job well. Kudos to the developers for keeping it simple, focused, and easy to use!
Couple of bugs:
(1) The toggle between desktop and mobile view on their built-in browser has a bug and so only desktop view works on my iphone 13 pro.
(2) The record button is finicky and sometimes doesn’t respond to a tap.
otherwise, great job to the developers!
