Fees aside this site works awesome and seems pretty safe For payment and scams. Yea you have to pay for stuff and the exchange rate sucks if your buying from Canada but again it’s hassle free and love the label printing

I’d give this 5 stars if the fees weren’t so high. Interface is super easy to use. I get why, they have to make money too. But when I have people messaging me constantly to take a sale off the site and do venmo or e transfer constantly, you know it’s bad.

Originally listed on FB markplace before trying Sideline Swap and getting 40% more for my used skates AND a quick and easy sale. SS took care of shipping label and it couldn’t have been easier to sell.

I’m convinced these guys are going to get found out for scamming people. Every experience I’ve had has been horrendous. The first three people who tried to buy something from me tried to trick me into buying Walmart gift cards/Walmart credit cards, obviously I knew it was a scam, but three in a row? That’s highly suspect. Then finally, I sold something, the buyer agreed to everything, he liked all the pictures I posted knew exactly what I was selling, he initially tried to lowball me, but then agreed to the price. Once he got the product, he made a fabrication that the picture wasn’t what he thought so I had to give him a discount, SidelineSwap unilaterally decided to give him a 40% discount ! 40%? It’s ridiculous. The product was exactly as advertised and he ended up getting a discount for exactly what his initial offer was. What a coincidence. And now I’m selling something on there, against my better judgment, I decided to create a new account to try again, and every offer I get is a scam again. Trying to buy only one part of what I’m selling, and mentioning gift cards again. my opinion what they’re tactic is is if they lose money on trying to scam me, it won’t be that much, because the item I’m selling is highly priced, I know somethings up. I hope somebody does an investigation on these guys. I’m definitely going to contact the Better Business Bureau.
