Sight Bulb

The Sight Bulb only works if you are in your house while connected to the WiFi. As soon as you leave the network, the app will say that the device is offline even while receiving notifications about motion activity. It doesn’t record any activity when while “offline.” I’m hoping this is a a mere bug in the software. Buyer beware!

why is it so freaking hard to position this stupid thing correctly

Horrible experience!!! Also, if you do choose to waste money on these cameras buy from them directly. The support person I spoke with to resolve my issue said they can only replace if I bought from them and not a retailer (Home Depot). I’m also kind’a worried about some traffic from the devices on my network that I wire-sharked. 😡😡😡

Why on earth do I have to enter a username and password every time I open the app? Please fix this. Very time consuming and defeats the purpose of receiving alerts.

I love that the camera follows and picks up great when person it’s walking on property, works better then my ring camera. The siren is super loud, with that had a setting to adjust volume. My neighbors don’t like it. The issue I’m having is that I can’t turn off the light on a timer. The app may be having a glitch, but when trying to set a timer for the light to turn on/off automatically the app closes out.

Useless. Doesn’t work with a 5G network. Wouldn’t have bought it if I knew that.

This app used to control a camera which connects to your wireless network but can be controlled from anywhere. It is a simple but very functional app and the camera has some very nice features. That being said, It is difficult to configure especially the first time, but after the device is installed properly everything can be made to work. The process for initial connection is a bit unusual as well. One tip: if you have firewall protection turned on in your wireless modem then it will drive you crazy trying to get it to work. You have to turn off the firewall to make it work. It probably uses an undocumented port to communicate with a server or your mobile device. They should really document that, because it is very hard to diagnose if you don’t know about it.

Using iphone 16, ios 18.1 Never could connect to router. Tried multiple times, used all the FAQ tricks. Reset light, on the 2.4 frequency, unscrewed, re-screwed, only 5’ from the router. Updated the app. Light beeped n did everything the install indicates, but after each countdown, failed to connect. Frustrated!!! Returning light This is the one channel light.

I’ve had nothing but problems with my camera and the app.

Detects motion behind glass. Timeline needs to be more user friendly. Add option to shut off IR light to avoid glare.
