App now fails to open on latest iOS. Doorbell still works but that is it. Going to try on an old iPhone with an out-of-date iOS to see what happens. I have had mine now for nearly 2 years and have it installed on 3 iPhones. In the main it works fine. A bit heavy on battery use. Only problem that I have is in regard to the SD Card. It could be my fault and that I have installed a fake 32Gb card but when the recordings reach about 16Gb of storage the device reports that it is offline and tries to reconnect without success. The push notices work and live viewing still works, but no new recordings take place. Formatting the SD Card restores normal service.

Camera is not working even door bell

I can no longer access the card files from the device over Wi-Fi saying that there is no network connection even though I can still use it to view who is at the door. Not much good if missed someone at the door and you want to know who it was!

Works okay most of the time but would be better if the notification sound could be changed to sound like a doorbell instead of the standard sound for all iPhone notifications

Not been able to set this thing up. Every time the app loads it produces an error -network time-out.

Total waste of money, worked for about a week then won’t connect. I have tried various times even reinstalled the software. Buy a more expensive brand as this is not fit for purpose don’t buy

As soon as app updated now only door bell ring comes on video always keep circle rounding up and up I left 1 hour when see again the new batteries (cell) all gone. Put new batteries again but no video or phone system work. Now as purchased from Lidle going to return that back. As it’s the big problem with the SilverCrest app connection to the device or remote server’s not worth at all.

My missus bought this so I installed it and then read the reviews (usually check reviews first), I’ve installed it no problem, I’m getting notifications, I have installed it on two Apple devices and so far (literally only two hours) I’m having no problems and am impressed with the kit! You need a Micro SD card to record stuff, which will be here from Amazon tomorrow.

Since January none of my devices, all Apple, don’t get notified when the bell is pressed, I have deleted and re-added it so many times I have lost count. Is this related to the last update ? Any ideas ?

This does not send notification or alert you when the doorbell is pressed. Is it a bug? Get it fixed please!!!
