The Simplera™ continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system helps people manage diabetes. CGM is a technology that lets users continuously view glucose values throughout the day, sends alerts for glucose events in a convenient and discreet manner on a mobile device, and shows the effects that diet, exercise, and medication can have on glucose levels.
The Simplera™ CGM uses an inserted Simplera™ sensor with Bluetooth™ wireless technology that converts small amounts of glucose from the interstitial fluid under the skin into an electronic signal. The Simplera™ sensor uses that signal to provide sensor glucose values to the Simplera™ system app on a compatible display device.
The Simplera™ app provides alerts based on sensor glucose (SG) levels and contains a user interface for entering data such as insulin, meals, exercise, blood glucose (BG) values, and uploading information to the CareLink™ Personal website. The Simplera™ app is available to download from the Apple® App Store™ and requires the Simplera™ sensor to function.
The Simplera™ CGM provides information that is used for diabetes management but does not provide any direct therapy. The Simplera™ CGM should only be used with supported mobile devices and operating systems. It is compatible with the Apple Watch™ which can display glucose values and receive system and SG alerts just like a mobile phone. In order to access the list of the supported mobile devices and operating systems, contact your local Medtronic representative.
To use the Simplera™ CGM, you will need the Simplera™ sensor as well as this app.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This app will only work with Simplera™ sensor, which was specifically designed to communicate with your device via Bluetooth™. It will not connect to other Medtronic CGM transmitters.

No smartwatch scongliata
2025 e non sono in grado di sviluppare un app compatibile per il telefono…
Funziona ma gli aggiornamenti sono lenti
L’app di per sé funziona e fa il suo dovere. L’unico vero problema che ho riscontrato è che non viene aggiornata velocemente e che quindi il telefono rimane esposto senza patch di aggiornamento
IOS 18 non funzionano gli alerts
il sistema associato ad Inpen andrebbe benissimo se funzionasse l’app simplera. A parte alcune piccole mancanze nella grafica, mancano del tutto gli alerts di bassa o alta glicemia, importantissimi.
IOS 18 e Widget
Il widget della misura della glicemia non e’ piu’ presente dopo l’aggiornamento a IOS18 su iphone 15 … Spero sia ripristinato era molto utile avere la visualizzazione della glicemia a portata di mano

Su IPhone Pro Max 15 il widget non funziona
App pessima!
Avevo sperato che ci fosse un miglioramento rispetto al Guardian, ma nulla. Pessima l’app e pessimo il sistema. Butto un sensore ogni 2/3 giorni per malfunzionamenti. È un peccato, perché il sensore è piccolo e comodo ma la tecnologia dell’app è veramente scadente.
Mostra valori non non attendibili
In qualche mese di utilizzo mia moglie ha dovuto subire allarmi per ogni motivo, di solito infondati. Valori letti assolutamente inaffidabili se confrontati con quelli del glucometro e mancanza di comunicazione con l’App parallela InPen che dovrebbe suggerire le dosi di insulina.
Aggiornamento
Ho cambiato telefono ed era presenta l’ultimo aggiornamento di IOS. Nono stante sono passati mesi dall’uscita dell’ultimo aggiornamento, l’app non funziona. È una vergogna che un app del genere, con la funzione di aiutare la vita di persone affette da una tipologia, non venga aggiornata in automatico. Siamo nel 2024 e queste cose non possono essere tollerate. Vergogna.
