Potentially very good
I downloaded the app, tried the free version and was impressed enough to go for a yearly trial. The app allows you to record your sets and weights up to 10 different exercises. You can vary the number of sets and exercises in any program you create. I was using it for about two weeks and although there were some suggestions I could make I found it did the job. So far so good. THE PROBLEMS!!! 1. I accidentally loaded the wrong program for that day so I went to history to select that day and delete it. Unfortunately I pressed the delete history button at the bottom of the screen rather than the delete selection. Immediately ALL my history was deleted. While a problem I thought that “ok, it’s my stupid mistake, I’ll load my saved program. ALL OF MY PROGRAMS WERE ALSO DELETED!! HOW?? I spent 20 minutes recreating them. 2. SOME SUGGESTIONS a) Include a two step warning for deleting ENTIRE history or b) include a recovery option c) Don’t make it delete EVERYTHING!! 3. OTHER SUGGESTIONS a) Include the ability to load a days log back to the program. I got around this by working from the program and saving and loading to log continuously, however, it wine good to be able to back up a logged workout as a program. b) Include the heading of the created program in the history. c) The colour choices are a joke. They look like a 5 year old worked on them. d) Allow you to duplicate a program and then edit it. This allows you to do easily create similar programs that incorporate mostly similar exercises that you could do for variation. I still like the app. It is simple to use. I hope the developers work on these suggestions and therefore make it worth while keeping up my subscription. I’ll gladly pay for a modest increase if the app is improved.
