Sked Social

The actual software is fantastic and saves hundreds of hours on social for our businesses, but this app is horrific. It would make more sense to not have an app than to have an app that is so slow, clunky and useless. For a software aimed at digital and social marketers, you’d think they’d create a successful app that would allow marketers to be able to work on the go whilst not having to be attached to a computer - wrong. Throw this app in the bin.

My work has made the switch to Sked, and I must say the app is very very unreliable! I can’t even upload a 15 second reel without the post failing. Not. Good. Enough.

I signed up with SKED after using their amazing website- the UI is great, easy to use, great features and amazing customer support. But the app is very poor. The UI looks out dated, there is no option to add saved hashtag categories which is a huge important function for mobile, which means if I need to schedule my posts I need use a computer. Love the website but the app is a no for me unfortunately.

Can’t use features off the phone. Can tag product or people.

I turned to Sked because it promised auto-post for video carousels. However, it changes the colour gradients of my video posts. When I contacted customer service they weren’t particularly responsive. Nevertheless, when I use other services such as Later or Preppr I don’t have this problem at all. I notified Sked of this problem on the 17th Aug and signed up for the service on 11th Aug. Customer service then took over a week to get back to me with no way forward to solve the issue. When I requested a refund as I am unable to use the service, I was told that I needed to have raised the issue within “7 days of signing up”. My advice - don’t wait for customer service to assist you in any way and if you’re going to pay for scheduling software, skip this one and try another service.

When opening the app, the page I’m taken to is the sign in page. I don’t have a login and there’s no ‘sign up’ option to choose. So I try logging in anyway and the only thing that changes is ‘forgot password’ shows but there’s no point in clicking it if I don’t have a login

Frequently crashes mid post!

I wanted to love this app but it is unreliable (posts fail, don’t get posted at the time of schedule, edits don’t save). My posts were stuck in “upload” and therefore couldn’t post subsequent content or edit existing content- took 2 weeks to receive the due support from the support team (after following up myself multiple times to get a response). On the flip side, once contact is made, the support is finally decent. The app has good qualities in scheduling and is easy to use. They have recently made changes and I am optimistic things will improve.

Thinks ive signed up before and i havebt and even so wont let me change a password to check. Couldnt even get past phase one.

This app just keeps crashing and crashing every time I try and click on a post. So unstable and so limited in functionality, son’t even bother.
