Getting to an age where stretching and recovery are becoming more routine then lifting. This app is a perfect mix of strength and recovery. If you are an older athlete I highly recommend this app. I really enjoy the minimalist videos with the perfect narration through the entire routine. Easy to navigate and it has a great bank of yoga strength and recovery routines. The cost might be steep for some however I look at it as a membership to a yoga studio and these instructors should be paid for the effort they put into this app.
Great app for the workouts; not so great on the customer service.
I’ve used Skill Yoga as a paid subscriber in the past and currently do. It’s geared towards athletes, and the program is challenging. If you’re coming from the yoga programs in, say, Apple Fitness +, you will find these are different. There is an assumption that a Skill Yoga user has an athletic background, so these courses are geared toward this sort of user, and even the beginning courses are quite challenging.
There are two problems with the support. My user/password info works fine when logging into the app to do workouts; it works fine when logging into Skill Yoga on the web. However, if you need to contact support, there is only a “Support” tab in a link off the app, not on the website - that’s problem one. Problem two is that you must log in again to access these support features, and my login info gets rejected every time, even though I’m entering the correct information. I copied and pasted the support link into an email and tried opening it up on my computer, but to no avail; I get the same error message that I have the incorrect login info when I clearly have the *correct* login info.
If you love yoga and want a challenge? Great app. If you want modifications or explanations of what you should focus on as you’re in the class doing it - similar to yoga on Apple Fitness +? - you’re not going to get it, but that’s not enough to dismiss Skill Yoga. The Apple Fitness + classes are great prep for the beginner classes in Skill Yoga.
The customer service/support has to be fixed. You need to give your subscribers access to support. My login info is fine; please fix your Support section. I have questions that, thus far, you’ve given me no way to ask. Having access to support is good for the customer and good for business. You want to retain your paying customers, I would assume. Please fix your support section.
Great or best yoga app
There commentary along with video is really great, all the exercises, videos really in depth.
I like the 5 days program covers the entire body strengthening and flexibility, mobility.
Also single work out great as well if you want to focus on particular part of the body.
This is worth every minute
Honestly, I never was able to get into mediation or yoga until I got this app. They hold your hand all the way through, with practice and time you get better and the lifestyle has changed my life. I can see the beauty in the madness due to yoga and meditation techniques to help me find mental clarity. I have developed a morning and nighttime routine incorporating these habits. If you’re looking for an app that works and adds pretty often(I’ve done so many I wish they added more!) okay I need to go meditate. Hope this guides you in your new journey!
SCAM hard to cancel subscription
I always bought and canceled my subscription at the same time so in the next year if I think it’s useful I buy another year. Yet I still got auto subscription and money deducted. I never received reminder email about oncoming bill as they claimed. I reached out to the customer service, and they requested evidence about the cancellation, the problem is you won’t get email when cancel either. The cherry on top of the cake is that their courses are so bad as well and not being updated once during the last year. AVOID THIS APP!!!

Feels like a personal trainer @ home
This by far the best, personalized yoga app there is. Wicked Awesome. Feels like one on one instruction with the advice they give you after you rate a yoga workout series.
Excellent course
Highly recommend for people who have no time to go to a yoga class, but still love yoga and want to learn yoga and stay fit but on their own time and in the privacy of their own home. It is a very organized course.

Simple, elegant, challenging
This app is truly a breath of fresh air. It’s focused, leaves out all the contrived fluff often associated with yoga, breath work, meditation.
Be ready though. It’s not kidding when it says it’s for athletes. Even the beginner material is challenging if this is your first foray into Yoga or are just generally starting with a weaker core and limbs. However, I still HIGHLY recommend for any level (total rookie myself) because at no point does my weakness feel discouraging.
The detached and modest nature of every exercise—from the narration to the athletes’ attire and background etc—provides a detached and stoic experience that lets you focus on what you’re feeling and how to improve…
…and less on how obviously wicked strong the demonstrators are.
The pose coach is pretty cool too…
