When I cashed out they for some reason insisted on sending part of it to me as a check. When it finally arrived long after I’d cashed out, I can’t even get either of my two banks to accept it.

Their % $ of each match in each game is pure greed. Make money, don’t be greedy

Very clearly support LGBT + Games/Fun can not be on the same level or do both way:)make points for traditional players :)

I would not recommend this app. Someone hacked my account and changed my information. When trying to fix it, Idid a reset password to text a code to my phone. I got the text and entered the code and still could not reset the password. I sent the request to my email and never got the email. Beware, will never use Skillz again.

Did enjoy solitaire and bubble match until the pop ups started on play screen. $6 matches CONSTANTLY pop up and if you are in the middle of doing something (you will be) and your finger touches it, you just bought yourself a $6 match with no way to get out of it! Happened to me a few times, $18 spent by ACCIDENT!! Looking into different apps for these games if the pop ups continue, can’t afford this one!

I recently had Skillz close my account due to concerns about their practices. I find it problematic that they criticize other apps and engage in legal actions against them while simultaneously manipulating their own platform by removing profitable players from events and higher entry fee options. They only include 1-2 valuable cards in events, which promotes gambling behavior, leading players to potentially lose significant amounts of money. Their event algorithms seem designed to encourage users to chase their losses, and I know individuals who have lost over $100,000 on this app. Despite this, they are not legally required to warn users about gambling addiction risks, which is troubling. MANY of my friends had to take out loans to pay off their debt from skillz games. This app negatively impacted my life, though I eventually managed to recover my losses after a year. When I finally did profit, they dangle your withdrawal like a carrot for weeks until you cave and cancel it. It is PREDATORY. I am now pleased to have found a more comfortable and less addictive environment elsewhere. It's disappointing to see the CEO of Skillz prioritizing self-interest over the well-being and fairness of its users. Excluding people is not a good look. Nobody cares that other platforms use bots. It's really not that serious. Hopefully skillz can get their situation situated, but by the time they do I will no longer care. Best of luck to you all.

Lot of games and can all run through same account which is nice BUT. Heads up if you are thinking to play with real money… I made a deposit, played through till the bonus fully converted to cash, then I put in for a withdrawal. I got an email saying I would get my money in 4-6 weeks but I could always deposit more…. I went to deposit more and it doesn’t let me. Says I can’t deposit with a withdrawal pending. It’s been a week now and they still haven’t processed my withdrawal. When I try to take an offer it prompts me to cancel my withdrawal. They get money instantly- there’s no good reason to delay payout so much and refuse deposits the whole time. It makes no sense to me and if you don’t care about that, they are good games.. edit…they say reach out to support but when I do I get back the same form letter.. wait up to 6 weeks for a withdrawal. Meanwhile I am blocked from making a new deposit. It’s not a mistake, it’s their policy. 2 weeks now. I probably won’t deposit any more until they change their policies.

Absolutely true as other reviews said. I had an old unused account from several years ago that hadn’t been used in years and no longer used the email so I had to create a new login. Waited until I built up my level and had over 500,000 tickets and $160 pending withdrawal but of course when they discovered a possible duplicate they deleted the newer very active account and kept the old one that has been dormant for years. Now they don’t have to pay. Avoid this company. (Hence they say it’s for fairness but by using an old account my skill level is much lower so I’d actually have more lopsided matches in my favor).

I’ve been a Skillz player for over 10 years, a VIP player, and a consistent depositing player. Lately the game Diamond Strike has been having issues where the round will open and the time will start to go across the screen but will freeze, and the gems will never drop. You don’t even get the opportunity to play the game. Many players in the in-game chat are complaining about the same issue, and that they have stopped being refunded. I wrote in to customer service as I always do because I spend real money on the game and if the game is not going to work properly, I want my money back obviously. Makes sense, right? Well I’ve been back and forth with support for days because they said I’m in a “cool down” period which they have in place due to players taking advantage and reporting crashed for refunds. I get this. But I wouldn’t have to write in if the game didn’t keep messing up! They normally can watch game replays and see if there’s an issue but they can’t watch mine because nothing was recorded - OBVIOUSLY because the game started and I couldn’t even play so there was nothing to record. I can’t believe after being loyal for so long they’re fighting me over $6!!!! $6!!!!! To this big company that’s nothing! It’s been bothering me for some time and I am going to leave this platform and go to another platform. I will never deposit money in to Skillz again. They lost me over $6. If it was my fault I would totally understand but it’s not my fault that the game took my money and I was given no opportunity to play the round. They talk about being fair but they aren’t. They are not for the players. Joke is on me- loyalty means nothing. They will be “happy to refund any matches after the cool down period”. The whole thing is so dumb. And they refuse to admit there is an issue as like I said it’s not just me a lot of other players are also having the same issue. They’re STEALING and it’s not okay. After years and years of consistent deposits I’m not doing it anymore. I’m disappointed because some of the games on the platform are super fun. Maybe I’ll play the free ones but I refuse to give my money to them ever again. Stealing isn’t okay.
