SkinSort - Skincare Scanner

So I was just trying to enjoy my day trying to work this app out then finally when I signed up this happened I I was just scanning a few of my products when then it said start your free trial now only when I scanned free products I’m just trying to find out if my products are good or not and you need to pay to form more than free absolutely bad

I really love this app and want to continue to love this app but I really dislike subscription services :(( I rather pay one off premium for an app instead than subscription

Huge fan of SkinSort, but the app often doesn’t successfully load search results or product reviews. They might briefly flash on screen, but won’t load even if searched for again, or going a page backwards and forwards again. I either have to re-launch the app, or (more often) resort to using the website since it’s much more reliable.

This app is what helped me finally get a grip on my skin care routine! As someone who never put much thought into my skin, SkinSort made the process far less overwhelming! There are so many products out there you can never be too sure that you’re buying the right labels, big fan of the categorising feature that lets you view all products safe for your specific needs :) Had some trouble getting my log in to work, but their customer service contact was incredibly responsive and helpful. I do really like this app, I think it's a really good idea, I love how there's a community and it helps keep a diary and track of your skin's ups and downs, but it doesn't have that many products available to add to your routine, so I can't keep track of what I'm using. I also can only use the scanner a couple amount of times before it tells me I have to go premium.

The website says it’s free. The FAQs say that an account is free. There’s no mention that the service requires a subscription until you’ve made an account. It’s extremely misleading. Let me be clear I’m not leaving a negative review because it is a service that requires a subscription. It’s negative because I was not informed that I would have to pay a subscription until I made an account, in fact the FAQs said it would be free. If it was made clear that a paid subscription was required to use the service then I would have avoided because I don’t think it’s worth it. I wasted my time and now I’m leaving this review because someone should tell you that it’s not free.

As a lover of the website! Can’t wait to see how the app holds up and what features it might have

It’s a great app and it helps me organize my routine! I really love it and best part you don’t have to pay for a subscription unless you want premium and there’s no ads! Five stars!
