Shopped at Calais Wine Superstore 5.30pm on Saturday. Refund in my bank account 12 hours later. What’s not to like?

Now we’ve used the app and followed the process next time will be so easy. We spoke to a cashier at the Wine Superstore (who was very helpful) and followed his instructions. We’ve had the money into our bank within 24 hours of scanning the barcode.

Process says the barcode comes through quickly - ours took 12 hours meaning we couldn’t undertake the in-person aspect of the claim back in time. All chat functions of support do not work at the weekend, so if you need to claim back your tax before booked transport… good luck!! Lost out on a decent bit of money due to the very slow pace and lack of help to resolve.

So easy to use, step by step guide. It’s like getting some free money. Only issue was finding the machine when we got to Calais, had to have a quick jog across the port whilst coach waited to load, fast and efficient. Money in my account morning we arrived home👍
