Use your Apple Watch to AUTOMATICALLY track your sleep!
Sleep++ takes advantage of the motion and health monitoring capabilities of your Apple Watch to measure both the duration and quality of your sleep. The better you understand how well you are sleeping the more you are able to make changes in your routines to benefit your rest.
My goal is to provide every Apple Watch owner with a free automatic sleep tracker that is simple and clear to understand. For each night you get a straightforward report of how long you slept and how restful you were during the night.
AUTOMATIC MODE:
Simply wear your Apple Watch overnight and each morning Sleep++ will analyze your sleep and give you a report about how long and restfully you slept.
MANUAL MODE:
If you want to have more precise control over the start/end time of each night recorded you can also use manual sleep tracking. This is also useful if your nightly routine makes it difficult for Sleep++ to determine when you went to bed.
1) Wear your Apple Watch while you sleep.
2) Tell Sleep++ when you start sleeping.
3) Tell Sleep++ when you wake up.
NOTES:
Sleep++ integrates with the Health App providing you a safe and private way to share your activity data with Sleep++. This data is used for automatic sleep tracking. You can also optionally have Sleep++ save your Sleep Analysis into your Health database after each night.
I have tried a few sleep apps since I have an Apple Watch but this one is not very accurate. It does not recognize in time that you are awake, making it seem as if you have slept longer than you actually have. I would recommend another app to track your sleep.
love the app, however labels/text fall off
love the app, for a long time allready.
lately the labels/text fall off, things run out of screen: in nights, details of a night and trim night. can’t find a reason. not using accessibility to enlarge font.
Great app but erratic lately
Suddenly app changed to US time and AM/PM instead of 24 hour.
App sometimes just does not import sleep data from watch nor does it offer manual creation. Doesn’t seem handle shifted sleep patterns well - like going to bed at 7 on the morning after a party. Shows old and new view (single bar vs 4 bar blocks) without clear reason.

It misses days and doubles days
In the readiness graph it says for example: Tue Fri Sat Sat Mon Mon Thu.
And in the readiness table it shows Thu Fri Sat Sun Mon Thu.
The sleep data show two entirely different nights both called Thursday march 2.
Great app - sometimes not recording al sleep
Last night I went to bed at 10. Was awake some time slept until 7:30 but the app doesn’t read data after 6. So the last 1,5 hour can’t be added. I’ve experienced that more often.
Naps?
How about naps? If I sleep during the day, I’d like to be able to add those.
Not very well
First couple of days it worked fine but suddenly it is one day behind.
It doesn’t even notice I breastfeed 3 times a night
I breastfeed 3 times 20 minutes every night for 5 months now and it always says I’m a maximum of 5 minutes a night awake... so I don’t trust this app at all...
Update
Worked great till there was a major update from Apple and it doesn’t record my sleep automatically. could’t do it manually. Used it for more than two years with my Apple Watch. Now deleted it. Pity.
