Even under the same Wi-Fi it doesn’t connect
As per the title . I’m 1 meter away from the lamp, under the same Wi-Fi but it does not connect.. so it’s unusable… please allow at least to manage it via Bluetooth or different network

Even if the device is connected to wifi you need to be in same network to manage it - why is that? What’s the point in connecting to wifi if is not able to be reached from outside home?? Beside of that, by mistake I turned off privacy checks and I lost the device pairing. My mistake, but it was never mentioned that I was going to lose data. Lot of improvements can be done…
Constantly disconnects and can’t be set up again without a lot of difficulty. Honestly, it’s not even worth the hassle.
Extremely finicky for something I should be able to set and forget. The hardware is unremarkable and the app is barebones (if you can get them to connect). Nothing better than staring into your bright phone right before bed finicking with an app to set your alarm.
Why does this app almost never connect to this over priced paper weight of a light? Edit: I’ve unplugged it and throwing this thing in the trash. It only connects right after a reboot. As soon as the alarm goes off or needs to be adjusted it won’t connect again until it’s been rebooted again. Pure trash. What a waste of money.
The app does not support accessing the light from a different subnet. For security reasons, I have all my IoT segmented off with outbound access to the internet so the devices can pull their updates, etc. but otherwise cannot see other my devices or networks unless I explicitly permit it. My management subnet is where my phone lives and it can see into the IoT subnet and reach devices fine. If I connect my phone to the IoT network directly, the app can see and manage the device fine. The only problem is that the app expects the light to always be on the same subnet as the phone/app. If you could widen the allowable subnet range to a Class B, that would solve it. I tried to send this in as feedback within the app. But reports of that button's existence are greatly exaggerated.
Is terrible
They sent out an update that made the clock disconnect from the app constantly. This app made my $200 smart alarm into a dumb one I could have spent $40 on — and Phillips has no remuneration for this nightmare or an ETA on when they will fix the bug they never should have released in the first place
I would give this app zero stars. Five out of five stars for frustration. This “smart lamp” is my biggest regret purchase because of this useless app.
It used to work, but now the app won’t connect to the light, even if the WiFi is the same. Tried everything, resetting device, etc. it’s the app. The app gets stuck on updating time zone settings. The app seems really low quality. Not sure what to do bc it’s outside return window.
