“Authenticating” won’t go away Sadly, I already bought it :( Don’t buy it.

The current AI still as of July 2024 makes terrible choices in every way, from conquests to decline. The AI even somehow fails to attack with ghouls before going in decline with the active race, which the timing rules shouldn’t allow. On another session the AI went in decline in the bottom of the final round for no benefit. The AI leaves singleton units exposed to the Sorcerers, and the AI doesn’t properly redeploy to attack from a new area when cornered. Maybe it’s for the best that the AI doesn’t have a Smart Mode so that I don’t play more often. I download this from the cloud to remind myself why I only play with human opponents. Kudos to the design team for so many great features, though.

I can play against the AI opponent in “solo” mode. But the whole purpose for my download was to play with friends. When i tap “login” it just says authenticating forever and nothing happens. Trying to play online shows nothing and half the time doesn’t actually do anything. Not sure how to “find buddies” if no one can login. Such a great game but really really terrible app.

Not sure what happened or why, been playing the game for years and all of a sudden I can’t play anymore because the game just shoots me in an authenticating loop. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game I’ve tried different devices and it dropped This authenticating problem on me in the middle of a game with buddies. Would’ve given us five stars but I am absolutely frustrated beyond belief that there is nowhere to find help to get this fixed

Don't waste your time. As others have said online play does not work. Gets stuck on authenticating

Got this game for online play and it does not work at all. If game has been abandoned, take off the Apple Store. Downloaded, had for 10 minutes, immediately need refund.

Don’t buy this. There is a glitch where you can no longer log in to play multiplayer.

I love this game in person and I’m so bummed it doesn’t work on my phone and I paid for the app! Whenever I log in it won’t log me in or keeps saying authenticating. Please help someone! I feel like I wasted my money….

I’m playing this on phone and it works good for the most part - it’s stable etc. One big flaw I’m running into is that there is no undo button. I have had most of my games ruined already because of little accidental bumps to end turn etc and no way to reverse that action. The buttons are extremely close to each other and it’s easy to hit the wrong button by mistake. That reverse decision feature would make it so much better. Other than that it’s fun.

I gave it a few run throughs. It’s really borning and more meaningless trivia than strategy. You’re better off with a simple game of risk. Wish I could get a refund, that’s really the worst part of it that the developer doesn’t believe in this game enough to offer one after you look at the game. I played just a few games. Wish it were like Steam where if a game is stupid you can get your money back right away. Not here. I guess they know it’s not the greatest strategy game. It’s basically Risk with sequins and feathers glued on.
