Love it!
Actually really good! Sometimes it doesn’t tell me the right bird because my camera can be grainy but otherwise really good! :)
Great app
I am having so much for using this app to discover and catalogue birds around me! It is super easy too use and the stickers are so cute I cannot pick a favourite! Well done team!
Great App. I feel like I’m playing Pokémon in real life.
Great discovery. Gets me out of bed every morning. Love the access to bird calls and birds spotted in the area. Easy to use. Stickers are fun. Do yourself a favour and get your kids outside bird spotting.
Makes bird watching super fun!
My husband and I have never really been into birds or bird watching, but we wanted to start, seeing as so many beautiful birds visit our balcony. This app helped us with that, and made it super fun to learn about birds. It’s like Pokémon-go for birding! 10/10 would recommend 👍🏻
Doesn’t work
Took 10 minutes to download on wifi. Doesn’t work. Just freezes. Tried to deselect ‘in my backyard’ and it wouldn’t toggle off. Not clear how to check from an audio file.
Great field tool
I am loving this quirky little app from the fab design of the icon to the hands on approach of the developer. The app is well designed and easy to use. The quiz is handy to shore up your bird knowledge and recognition skills. I think the annual sub fees are quite reasonable Happy twitching!😊
Great app; too many pop ups!
So many great features to this - love the bird quizzes! Happily paid $10 to remove ads and unlock the photo/song ID option (although yet to use these) but there’s still so many frequent pop-ups asking to subscribe to unlock a membership feature (which I think just allows you to post to a bird tracking feed…?) and to be honest, sounds awesome, but I don’t want to pay a monthly fee to do that, so stop asking me every time I log a bird that I spotted!
A super bird identification app
Following a suggestion by a friend, I downloaded the Smart Bird app. It has been so informative in relation to Australian birds in particular, by providing photos, calls and details of their habits. It has also given me the opportunity to keep a record of what I have personally observed and has aided me to become more skilled in recognising different species, often by referring to their calls or songs on the app
Love it!
Absolutely fantastic app! Great way to learn more about the birds around us and it’s fantastically run, so many incentives to keep you interested.
