Smart Remote Control App

Fullscreen ads have been added and is becoming obtrusive which is unfortunate as it is starting to be like other remote apps in the app store. I prefer the banner ads, or fullscreen ads when adjusting settings. Would also like the ability to tap and hold to mimic a press and hold of the center/ok button of an actual remote.

Great app, simplistic and appears to offer full control of Bravia. Would definitely pay a couple bucks to get rid of the small ads at bottom (when I say a couple of bucks I mean a one time purchase, not a subscription like every other remote control app seems to be). Aesthetically would be cool to have an option to have a black background and a more minimalist icon but that is only nitpicking.

There are a lot of free remote apps for Smart TVs these days. Some of them are even universal and work no matter what brand your TV is. BUT… most of these apps only support common functions - navigation, launching apps, inputting text, and basic play / pause / volume controls. *THIS* app is ONLY for SONY BRAVIA Smart TVs - but has complete 100% functionality of the official Bravia remote! This means you no longer need the TV remote nearby to change the input to your Xbox or Blu-Ray player. Even more impressive is this app HAS ITS OWN PICTURE SETTINGS MENU! If you are a gamer like me, this feature is the most invaluable of all. Instant toggling of image enhancements and switching between colour space/temperature presets are things you can’t even do with the original remote! It took ~10 secs to navigate through the settings menu on the TV every time I wanted to change these… now I do it from my phone with 3 taps!!! That is why this app stands apart from the rest… I literally don’t need my original Bravia remote at all anymore unless the WiFi goes down. If you have a Sony Bravia, it really is the best free remote you can ask for! *Request for Developer* PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release a paid, no-ads version on the App Store! Or just update this one with the option to disable ads through an IAP. I believe great work should be rewarded and would be happy to support development if I could disable ads for around the $4.99 price point.

I wished there was a no ad upgradable version. The full page ads are annoying.

If you could somehow purchase this app and remove adds It could have been a good app but Damn those adds make it useless. I’d rather pay and use an app that lets me use it nr dient force me to look at random bulls&#t

Connected to the TV fine, but it would interrupt use with unskippable ads fairly frequently. This should be your last resort as a full time option.
