SMARTank

With the latest update, the “Search” function for changing the Organization doesn’t seem to be working at all. When searching for the exact name of an organization that I know exists, it returns nothing. The web portal isn’t perfect, but it’s far superior to the app. It would be nice if the mobile app was developed to the same standard, since this is the only option for some of our team working out in the field.

The app no longer works. I’ve taken all of their recommendations of deleting, redownloading, signing out, refreshing etc and nothing works.

What happened? Someone did a diversity hire and took a good app and trashed it. Fire whoever is working on this app and go back about a year when it was reliable. 9/20:23 app has done nothing but go further downhill. Not showing any visual tank usage, just gallons in the tank. No available updates yet for the app.

So I don’t know what happened in December 2022, but this app went downhill for me at that point ot else it would be a five star app. When I am in the List section it only brings up one tank, and when I go to the Grid section, I get all of the tanks. I’ve cleared out the filters and I just can’t get the app to report my tank levels on the list section where it’s so much easier to digest visually where I am on my tank monitoring solution. I have tried to open up a help ticket, but I’ve gotten almost nowhere with it. If it’s something simple that I have set up incorrectly in my settings, I’d love to fix that. Edit: I found my bug, for me I had to go onto the smartank.com portal sign and then click on options under the tank reports tab then click include exclude options, maintenance tanks, then save the selection. So much better.

The latest version is a mess. When I opened the previous version, I was greeted by the Login Page with my username and password already filled in (as I had selected the “remember me” box. Now I am greeted with an error message, and need to tap on the hamburger symbol, then select “log out” which then gets me back to the Login Page. After login, I select “Manage”, then “View”, and I am presented with the graph and percentage figures. What happened to the gallons remaining number? In order to see the actual gallons remaining, I have to access the account via a Windows desktop app. Please give us the previous back!!!!

Seems to give me all the pertinent information that I require. It’s great so far. I will update my review in six months.

We currently only monitor one tank, and the app is handy to check on it when needed. I could see this app being even more valuable if/when I would need watch multiple tanks.

the app reports time based on gmt so it is off from eastern time by 5 hrs.... would love for the app to work more like the webpage.... its been a year since the app was updated .... pretty sure there have been at least 4 refinements on the web portal in the last 6 months....
