Doesnt work
Astounded by the lack of basic troubleshooting and lack if knowledge. Usual IT response….never seen that problem before. How does that help?

Ei Electronics SmartLINK app is designed to work with the Ei1000G gateway and SmartLINK cloud portal installation. This app guides installers through the process of installing Ei Electronics alarms and allows the install data to be pushed to the SmartLINK Cloud Portal providing a complete digital installation record of each property.
The SmartLINK App is designed for users with existing log-in details provided to them by their SmartLINK Portal system administrator. If you do not have log-in details for the SmartLINK App, contact your administrator or alternatively email the below:

Unreliable
Very temperamental, only really works when it feels like it, not great when your fitting 3+ systems a day, expected better

Bought my smoke alarm and can’t get them to link up. Download app put in my email address and password and it keep coming up with check your internet or email or password incorrect. My email and password are good and so is my internet. A waste on money and my time , can’t even get to a problem solving forum.
Not fit for purpose
Just installing a SmartLINK gateway. The instructions does not mention anything about creating an account and neither does the app. I see that the developer explains that the app is only for registered users. Well WHY NOT SAY THAT ON THE APP AND IN THE INSTRUCTIONS?
Can login but data doesn’t match the same on web
I can login on a browser and see my installation. I login with this app with the same details and can’t see it.

Not possible to sign up / register and does not provide you with any guidance to do so
