This app is really useful for planning sailing around the Solent. They just need a station down near hurst and you would have the whole area covered.

Most of the time I find this is up to date once I refresh it so it’s handy for checking the wind.

A helpful one-click source of Solent wind data but what about Hurst Castle, Yarmouth or Lymington?

I sail the Solent and have been caught out by this app frequently. It is NOT real time or even up to date (on occasion) I have returned to checking bramblemet online as that is real time.Review update: This app is dangerous! Whilst in the Solent the wind was force 9 but the app was showing force 6, I then noticed the app was 14 hrs behind. SCRAP IT OR FIX IT

Too often hours out of time to be of real use. Example: at 08.20 still showing results from 20.00 previous night.
