The Somfy myLink™ app provides simplified control of RTS motorized blinds, shades, draperies, awnings, rolling shutters and screens from the convenience of your iOS device for convenient sunlight management anytime, anywhere. With the Somfy myLink app, you can:

Not working after last firmware upgrade
I've had Mylink for more than a year and it had done the job, but after the last firmware update it takes years to open the app and connect, and most of the times sends an error message that the curtain couldn't be reached, So I have to look for the traditional remote control :(
Changed it up
Lost my house
Terrible. Stuck with it.
Can’t use another app with our shades. It loads extremely slowly. Has multiple usability issues. Crashes often. Feels like they followed the “set it and forget it” philosophy.
Poor quality
Wall plugs no longer update. Doesn’t work with Apple Home or Alexa.
Horrible
The connection barely ever works. It is hit or miss. They are using the same technology as 10 years ago. The units don’t update the firmware well. I know this…because over the past 17 years I have bought new controllers thinking they would improve… and they are barely better today than in the beginning.
Works on Ipad, not iphone
Even talked to customer support with my installer. They suggested just using the ipad since it doesn't connect to my iphone. It's an up to date, 1.5 year old iphone 14. Worked on my old iphone XR. There seems to be no solution for it.
Electric curtains
Easy app to use.
2 shades are working together
I have reprogrammed my device multiple times and I still have two shades on different channels going up and down together. I called customer service and left a message in the maze and have not heard back since.
Run away
I was sold shades for 10k in 2020 that run on this app. So frustrating. Constantly losing connection, sometimes I need to wait for 10 seconds for it to connect, sometimes I need to plug-unplug the bridge. Sometimes a reboot of the router fixes it. I am never going with somfy again. Look at this, last software update was from 2years ago. Really?
