Appalling- not safe for DV experiencers
I accidentally found that if you’re not the “primary tenant” (what ever that means in the modern post 1950s world- you DONT get access to the documents you signed to be on the lease in the ap… as far as I can recal- we did not receive a printed lease- it was all online… so it’s beyond fair to expect I can access the lease- any time- day or night- instantly, online. But I’m told to look in “documents” but since I’m not the “primary tenant” I don’t have a documents folder in either the sorted ap or the REA ap. Insane!! How about DV victims trying to quietly flee a situation… with out letting others know?! All adults signed on to the lease REQUIRE this privacy. . . If I wasn’t forced to use this ap by my REA I would abandon it immediately FIX IT fix it fast. Also I would like to ad- in Australia it’s VERY very common to have a toilet in a standalone separate room. And in some city’s even an outside Loo.. yet… there is NO toilet option to select when reporting a maintenance request. Our toilet is no where near the bathroom- being closer to the laundry I selected laundry- also incorrect. This ap is obviously made by Americans, and ill adapted for the Australian market. It’s an easy fix. Just add it. Add toilet as a room!!!! You can’t check if any rent is missing/our outstanding in the ap You can’t pay rent in ap You can’t see if any maintenance that was requested is needing to be paid (by the Tennent)… None of my previous pleas to improve this ap have been acted on- not even the ones that would support domestic violence concerns Appalling
