Don’t know what the other reviews are about
I solely use the c4 synth pedal and had no issues what so ever except have to press the burn button a couple of times. Maybe they fixed the issues?

I really like Source Audio’s pedals. This forced beta version has been disappointing. I miss the horizontal sliders and full 8-bit resolution. Now most level settings don’t have a proper zero, and it continues to be a bag of bugs. Worst of all the previous (better) non-beta version is gone for iOS. Please bring it back!!
I don’t have access to a computer that I can download software to so I can’t use the desktop editor, which is probably superior because it connects to the pedal via USB. Since I don’t have that option, the only way I can tap into my True Spring pedal’s extra reverb algorithms is with this Neuro 3 mobile app, which connects through a special cable that comes with the pedal. (It has a 1/4 inch jack that plugs into the pedal and an 1/8 inch jack that plugs into the headphone jack of your phone. I have an iPhone SE, so I had to use a lightning adapter. My guess is that the app sends a one-way code of audio pulses through this cable to the pedal…) My first experience trying to use the app was so frustrating that I nearly sold the pedal. A few days later I gave it another shot when I had more time and patience to problem-solve and systematically try to upload/“burn” presets to the pedal. I’m not the most technologically advanced person, but I’m not dumb either— this app’s interface is not intuitive and will require some patience to figure out. That said, with a lot of trial and error, I did ultimately figure out how to upload 3 presets to use in preset mode. The sounds I get out of this pedal are absolutely beautiful. Please remember, this is a review of the app, and NOT a review of the pedal itself. Is the app poorly designed? Yes, but I’m glad SOMETHING exists (besides the desktop editor) so that I can unlock the potential of the pedal. I don’t know anything about app/software design, but a lot phones don’t have headphone jacks anymore. Maybe the next app could use a USB connection?
Trying to create an account freezes the app. No error message. Very frustrating
This software is NOT ready for actual use. It is at best an early forced-beta. Unfortunately, for iOS there is no way to revert the older version which featured horizontal sliders which made good use of screen real estate and were easy to read. Parameter values had 256 steps of resolution. The new version replaces sliders with knobs which are much more difficult to use, don't make good use of screen real estate, and scale values to the nearest percentage, thus causing a loss of edit resolution. There are also issues like EQ bands where there is either no zero dB, or two zeroes (0.0 and -0.0). I timed myself and it took me 30 seconds to encounter a malfunction with this latest release. It's heart-breaking, because I like Source Audio, and I know those folks are really trying to do this right. The Neuro app ambitiously covers a large range of pedals providing incredibly detailed access to these amazing devices. Because they released it to iOS WAY too soon, and they refuse to go backward, I suppose we'll have to ride this out. When things start to shape up, I will keep updating this review. For now, if you have a choice, it would be best to wait.
I previously used this app with great success to make some complicated presets for my EQ2 pedal. Now the pedal connects and disconnects at random, it's not clear when presets are written or not, occasionally what I'm working on is replaced with a random preset, and I apparently have no control over saved preset names. Really, really disappointing.
Since the update, the app no longer connects to the pedal to change settings or burn a preset. Not only does this make the app worthless, it diminishes the value of the pedals themselves since one can only use the on device knobs. With some pedals, most of the functionality is in the app, which is no longer available.
I have had the Nemesis Delay for years and the integration of the old app worked great for loading community and my personal presets. With this update I not only lost that functionality, I can’t even change delay parameters without hooking up my nemesis to my PC. Poorly thought app.
Man I waited years for this. What a disappointment. 🫥
Cant connect any of my pedals to iPhone. On the road at the moment and I’m screwed. I’d wait for a newer version. They are a great company and should hopefully fix this.
