Not easy to navigate.

Love this place , The staff are so good & helpful Leo on front desk so helpful on Friday 22/03/2024 Sorted my app out so that I could book my session!! Then there’s the lovely Rochelle she as become a friend castle Centre manager front of house !! There’s a guy who is a manager , don’t know his name , but been there 8 years as long as I have been going , alway will say hello !! Great place for meeting people !! If I win the lottery these people will Be on my list to treat as they have been good to me ( Showing Kindnesses) Pauline Hickson

The app is much worse compared to previous everyone active as you are unable to get any type of notifications & most importantly you don’t get notified in any way when a space becomes available and you are in the waiting list. I have multiple times, called & visited the gym and they can’t do anything to fix this with the excuse this is IT issue. If it wasn’t for the limited gym options in the area I would have definitely left months ago.

Difficult and unintuitive to navigate. Tries to push me into buying a membership (I just want free swim and gym). The app doesn’t remember passwords (silly me for actually selecting a secure password). Thoroughly locked out of an app on my passcode protected device now. Can’t be too careful ensuring somebody else doesn’t turn up to the gym and swipe in with my physical membership card I suppose (yea you can). This is the reason for the 1 star: it’s unusable. The app also looks and feels like a 2013 throwback.

I can’t log on for 2 days, can’t book anything

Since the change it’s become impossible to actually book anything. I want a refund. What’s the actual point of the app??

Book your free gym and swim sessions by logging into the my account page not the free swim and gym button on the home page. That button is only to sign up?! Yep that how it works. Bizarre and confusing experience that uses poorly designed web views of the Southwark council website. Everytime you open the app you have to sign in I mean why bother with an app at all. Some very odd decisions pity the less tech savy trying to use these services. Southwark council offer some great things but to bury them under these terrible website is disappointing and must lead to under utilisation of the services offered.

I join the gym a month ago and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere

App is rubbish and you know it. Don’t waste time and focus on a website only. Alternative is to build a native app.

They have been so helpful to me as I have returned after a two year break for the silver swim session. One young lady in particular showed me how to make my first booking. Please pass this on as she is a great ambassador for Southwark leisure. Her and her colleague are very efficient and it’s nice to be greeted with two smiling faces Dave Clark.
