Poor Camera Controls And Clunky UI
In my opinion these games are unplayable on a phone and maybe any touchscreen device. I have not tried a desktop version of the app. For example, there is an “inspect” button that allows you to view any card, token, etc object on the table in isolation, almost as though you picked it up with your hand to look at it up close. This is essential for reading the text on a card. The problem is that when you enter this “inspect” mode there are menu buttons positioned in the bottom center of the screen, and those buttons are in the way of what it is that you are trying to inspect. So you might be tempted to pan so that the text on the card you are inspecting is visible, but there is no pan function. And if you pinch to zoom it immediately zooms in so close that you can’t see anything. This app feels like it has barely been tested, and I don’t think anyone uses it, when I log in there are no active tables. This is a failed application and a failed company unless they can figure out a way to correct these flaws. In its current form it costs $20.99 USD to try for a month if you want the ability to invite friends who don’t have subscriptions. Insane!
