Don’t bother
App works as advertised however I was not getting too many spam emails that had to be blocked anymore so I decided not to continue paying the yearly membership fee and delete the app. Now I’m being signed up to random spam emails on a daily basis. Coincidental? I doubt it. Sleazy way to do business. Take your business elsewhere
The amount of spam had not decreased, it’s just not in my inbox.
I have been using the app since April ‘24 after having an email account be severely compromised a year ago. My computer would not support the desktop version so I’m using the app only. For the most part, I’m happy with it, they have missed maybe 4 messages that made it thru the filter and ended up in my inbox. I’ve received answers via email every time I’ve had questions, usually w/in 24 hours. Only criticism is that I’m probably getting more, not less spam since starting with this filter, and it’s the same spam repeatedly. I realize it’s not the function to eliminate it but rather to filter it - but wish it had an impact on eliminating it. I’m checking the app maybe 10x / day to go thru & confirm the ones they have blocked. Only other suggestion I’d make is to have a way to mark them all at once rather than clicking thru each manually. In general tho, I’d recommend it & hope it will be improved w/ newer iterations.
More Down-time than filtering
One of the more unreliable apps I use. It will work intermittently for a week or less then quit filtering. Doesn’t keep up with security protocols for MS Exchange. Not recommended! Keep looking for something better.
Worst customer service ever
This company operating outside the United States are horrible at best. I tried to cancel my service after 2 years and they continue to bill me. You can’t speak to anyone on the phone and the back and forth emails are frustrating. Apple won’t help with this and it is sold on their website.
Using Spamdrain for years - one minute per day
Have had it on several email addresses for at least 5 years. Can review all spam in all email folders at once making it quick - maybe just a minute per day unless I choose to peruse one in detail. I like the color coding for suspected spam level esp the blue ones that are easy to spot and are borderline spam - often marketing material. Very accurate in its coding of email. Seldom is a legitimate one coded red.
Excellent product
I tried the trial version and I really loved it however its a little too expensive for me, but it’s an excellent product over the many others that I’ve tried
Not a working app
I think the company stopped working. Spam emails are coming through even when I do everything to block them
