Good but not great!
I’m using the free app and website for years now. Recently finally bought the app. Good app but not great does not yet deserve 7 euro’s because: -multiplayer, guest login, New players park: score always 0 even if I win 3 times. Some other players get 10 points for a win and in the past me also but now always 0 score?? -app often switches to landscape mode after I open it, meaning you can’t turn it back by turning iPhone and choosing players than gets difficult/almost impossible. Also in a game the ‘list’ button then is not there anymore. -after win you can’t see the board because the ‘win-message’ is blocking what just happend. You can’t use ‘list’ so if you didn’t see the last move you’ll never know what happend of how the match ended. -the ‘opponent is thinking’ message blocks the time so you can’t see how much time the other has left while thinking. -playing vs pc: after losing you can’t ‘undo’ anymore.. terrible.. -refreshing potential players takes too long! -somehow if I set playing mode on ‘white’ in first screen it turns to ‘black’ when I’m in multiplayer mode so I get to play with black pieces 90% of the time. Trick: first play vs computer than in multiplayer it remembers white setting but next time it will continuously change to ‘play with black’ again. -Bad WiFi gives option to ‘reconnect’ and save your game but clicking it sends you to mainscreen, even when your WiFi is perfect again!
