This used to be the best word game for increasing your vocabulary but it is ruined by obnoxious ads. Sorry. I am not going to pay for no ads to just play this game

The best of the bunch
I do love this game and have played for years. It’s the best of the bunch since the loss of quordle. However I take issue with a few of the really obscure words. Some are even wrong! See: ‘trapes’, for example. It would be helpful to have a toggle that removes truly archaic or obsolete words from the dictionary. Additionally based on some of the definitions, I’d suggest perhaps a different dictionary, but that’s secondary to the words we’ll never know, learn or use. Also, CEO, DNA , asci, and a couple of others that escape me, are not words.
Excellent word puzzle
The word list is better than many other word games I play, and includes a definition for each word. The design is simple and elegant, with a minimum of visual clutter. The price to eliminate ads is very reasonable. One of my most played games (in untimed mode).
Served up SCAM ad
This game served up a full screen ad that looked like a security notification from Apple. It said that I needed to install a "Cleaner" update and that this "was required on every iphone". There was an install button on the bottom as well as a cancel button. DO NOT click either button.
Frustrating
Is this American English? The word “arial” is not on the list! British spellings of words, however, are. And what’s with obscure names of currencies from around the globe? Super frustrating to have never completed a puzzle.
I’m retired
No longer working daily & I was losing my vocabulary; this really helped increase it.
One small change
Please allow words over seven letters. It’s so frustrating to find a word that is over seven letters and it doesn’t count. It’s the only thing keeping this game from 5 stars.
