Downgrading to 2 Stars - Bugs, Bugs, Bugs
I previously rated the Spendesk app 3 stars due to a multitude of bugs with the wrong date ALWAYS populating when you submit an expense request, random foreign currencies being used (i.e. the optical character recognition has difficulty recognizing non USD currency symbols on scanned / uploaded receipts about 15-20% if the time. I am now downgrading to 2 stars because I just received the purple Visa card, and although it truly is one tap to activate the card in the app, it’s not possible to set or change a PIN for the card. All you get is the spinning purple wheel of death on a blank white screen after you tap “create a PIN” or “change my PIN.” And of course, there is no way to contact support in the app. So I currently have an unusable business Visa card. Spendesk has soooooo much promise. It is truly pretty easy and intuitive, other than all of the manual date and currency corrections and unfixable problems like this PIN bug. Yes, the app is the most current version. Yes, my iOS is the most current version. Yes, my WiFi and cellular data networks have max signals, and yes, the rest of the app loads quickly (and literally every other app and browser loads quickly and functions correctly).
