What a stupid game.
The character graphics look pixelated and it ruins their look. Also this game should have cloud save; what Netflix sells on is not just the games themselves but also account based cloud save and multiplayer features.
I love the game but there is one little problem, the quality. I have played the game before on a computer but on my mobile device the quality is noticeably different. And to address this concern I would ask thunder lotus to try and increase the quality so at least I can see the character’s faces normal. Please fix this.
this game is beautiful. the story and the scenery. I completed the game and i love this game so much i want to again with how much its impacted me. this game has actually helped my depression, with its cute and sad aspects. im very thankful for this game, i have no problems with it all!
This is in my top 5 games of all time BUT that was on the Xbox. Unfortunately on IOS with the Netflix download it is full of bugs. 😭 It lost progress very early on when I got the ability to double jump then lost it and couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Also, there is zero sound and I’ve tried everything in app settings and in my phone. The music is one of the best parts of this game so without any sound at all it’s really lacking a core cozy factor that made me love this game in the first place on Xbox.
I love almost everything about this game, but the fact that I can’t progress anymore just because my double jump won’t let her go on the ladder into the museum! WHY?! ive seen on the computer version it works just fine, but on the iPad I’m stuck, and it doesn’t look like they’ll ever fix it which I’m disappointed in cause now I don’t know how I’ll finish the game… CAN SOMEONE PLEASE FIX THE JUMP BY SUSANS MUSEUM!? It is almost IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ON THE LADDERR!!!
I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a mobile game before, but I just finished 100% of this game, every single aspect I could find, and then immediately came to write this to share just how much I love this masterpiece. I enjoy many games on pc, console and mobile and didn’t think anything could surpass my love of Stardew Valley, but Spiritfarer took my heart and ran a marathon on the other side of the country with it. First I’d like to mention I was surprised to see reviews about issues with bugs. As of July 2024 they either have fixed those bugs, or I’m just lucky to be on a good enough iPhone maybe. Either way, I didn’t have any substantial issues in gameplay or visuals. I’m glad there was a free version on here for me to try, but now that I’ve played it I would confidently say it’s worth buying on steam, especially when it goes on sale. It was clear throughout the 50+ hours that I played that no part of this game sacrificed quality for another aspect. Everything was incredibly well balanced and every experience blew me away. The visuals were dynamic and gorgeous. The music was emotional, and guided you through the story with each distinct character you meet. The language was so intentionally well thought, which creates room for introspection and even growth and change as the story progresses. You can tell just how hard every person on this team worked to create something they felt passionately about. I don’t think that is any easy thing to do when the main theme is death. However, the plot was executed perfectly, in a way that starts slow and eases you into a curious and fun world to explore before diving into some major truths of humanity. The plot twists are gut wrenching, but the love your character, Stella, spreads feels palpable. It’s a bumpy ride filled with every kind of interaction you could think of, composed of colorful characters and diverse atmospheres. Zany challenges will keep you busy as you traverse across a world familiar to Stella, and help spirits that aren’t quite ready to cross over into the afterlife. Not everything is exactly what it seems, but over time pieces of the puzzle will come together to make more sense. It’s truly a unique position to be in, to be a caregiver for someone at the end of their life. In past healthcare jobs I’ve worked closely with many people, and a lot changes when you know you don’t have much time left. Everyone reacts differently. In almost every character I came across here, it would rem
So I love these type of story telling and odd type of games. And I love this concept and so far it’s a decent game. But…it has a few things so far that I’m not a fan of. 1. The time it takes to travel from different islands is a bit tedious. 2. I am a tad confused on the stormy areas, it said that I needed to upgrade my boat to travel through the storms but I didn’t have to upgrade to do that. 3. The song to the plants to help them grow is slightly off beat. Just enough for me to mess up the entire thing or maybe the mark of when you hit the arrows is off. But something about it is off. My husband is an audiophile and it irritates him to no end. And me as well. 4. The game is slow moving which is alright it’s very relaxing to play. But I thought I had to help these spirits fullfill their last wishes. But so far that part of the game hasn’t happened. It’s all spirits that Stella must of known during life. And I’m unsure if these are just support characters or the spirits. it seems like they are both, but I’ve been playing for four days here and there in my free time and nothing yet about any last wishes or requests. So I am wondering if the storyline is flawed. 5. The collecting of resources isn’t nearly as plentiful as I feel the game could be, there could be fields where I could collect crops and plants. And there’s only ever 1 stone to hack at. 6. I’m unsure what items to sell to the merchant because I’m not sure if those shells or anything else will be useful or not. I think there’s a lack of organization in that manner. 7. The world itself is very small, the islands are very lack luster, the houses are all the same and the mechanics are all the same, “ladders going up and down” and maybe a Overall the concept seems really great, but so far there’s little to be desired. I think there’s missed opportunity’s for things and items to collect or their uses and places to adventure to.
Is there a glitch happening? I’m missing the move button. I can only jump
I was enjoying the game as an easygoing sort of adventure, but the occasional odd combination of dash jump glide with such a rudimentary control system I found way too stressful and at odds with the tone of rest of the game. I ended up deleting it because I was just trying to play something relaxing and not deal with all that.
