Fun way to watch
I had two friends in the Cape Town race. I eventually found the 3D satellite map (you have to look for it, wasn’t just listed), and I enjoyed watching them do the 109 km cycle race. First time I’ve used the app and it was far better than I thought. I had no real expectations so was pretty happy. It kept me awake far past my bedtime as I wanted to see how my friends were doing. I was tempted to get out of bed and combine watching the app with using google street view. Quite entertaining. I ended up sleeping this morning till 10:30 though.
