Difficult to use and poor service. Can’t reach anyone for help. I’m going to another processor

I have two square stands, one is older and running an older version of the app. The second is newer and updated IOS and the app accordingly. The redesign of the checkout screen is miserable in multiple ways. 1)When selecting an item from the item grid that has multiple options it doesn’t revert back automatically to the main grid screen. 2) When scanning items and they populate in the cart, there’s no sku listed and the whole space feels smaller and tighter. 3) Applying a discount or price adjustment to an item in the cart now appears in a pop up even smaller than the cart menu making everything feel squished into the side. While being distracted with the item grid still on the screen. I’ve been using square for probably 8-10 years and have adjusted well with the changes they’ve done and changing to the square for retail app which has been great….until this clunky junky update. The only think I like about this update is the ability to select and choose your most used functions to be shown in the bottom tabs. Other than that it makes me cling to my old iPad with the much user friendly menus. PLEASE! Change it back! 😭

Inventory is super hard to count because Square does not allow you to select more than 250 items at a time. I have more than 5000 items. How can one count the inventory and keep track selecting 250 at a time? What could even be the reason for this? I have more than 250 items in some of my categories. Square, please, allow us to select more than 250 items for counting.

It used to work, and older replies from the same customers still show up. But newer replies are only visible in the PC browser. This is straight up broken and needs to be fixed ASAP! Customer communication is extremely important!!!

Constantly updating the system that seems less user friendly, messes up my tabs already set up, messes up inventory. Does not integrate well with quick books (and why do even have to have a separate system for accounting???) Prices keep getting raised, now charging extra to load a gift card. Just keep taking more and more from small business.

Having same GTIN issues when adding new inventory. This has been reported by numerous businesses. In addition, today the vendor button disappeared in the in edit item pages. We need an update to fix these issues ASAP

Adding items to the inventory with “Receive stock” feature in the “Inventory” tab fails. GTIN validation is broken completely. Support doesn’t understand when this is reported and hangs up. The app is functionally not working. Support doesn’t understand how the app works in any office. It was a surprise to the support staff that the “Receive stock” feature exists at all. It’s clear Square doesn’t understand how retail in general or their own applications work. Impossible to inform them either.
