I don’t know how this app is rated so well. Maybe it’s because it’s the holiday season, and my barbers are out of town and it creates an unusual edge case.
Here are two bugs:
* Navigating to the next month in the appointment picker causes it to immediately close the panel and bring you back to the current month, preventing me from booking an appointment. Restarting the app fixed this.
* After selecting a time (“3:15pm” or “4:45pm”), the confirmation modal shows a different time (“4:00pm”). I don’t trust it to book the time slot I selected.
I gave up and used my barbershop’s website.
Pleasantly Easy
Every two weeks I go to the Ultimate Barber Shop for their excellent service. Kirk does a great job (the pleasant part) and booking an appointment and paying with Squire is a breeze (the easy part).
With the right shop, Squire is 10/10
I am busy. My hours change on the fly almost daily. If I think I work the next day at noon, book for 10am, and then find out late the night before I need to be at work at 8am… it’s a simple clicks and I’m rescheduled for the next time I think I’m free. No more walking in and waiting for however long to be seen. Being able to schedule an appointment with an app hasn’t been magic for a decade now… being able to reschedule multiple times without a charge… and being able to show up, walk-in, and sit down for a cut is unprecedented in my book.

Zero support from Squire
Squire will charge you twice and then tell you that the retailer has to fix it. Support thru squire is an absolute joke. Would not recommend to anyone.

Love it the app takes the hassle of waiting for a chair out the way by booking in advance!

There should be an option for a “tape up” not everyone is getting a haircut.

The only option is card. Where is the pay in person. Stupid ahh app
