Waste of time
The app doesn’t work. Cannot connect TSP100III despite multiple attempts and hunting for info. What a waste of time ugh.

Doesn’t work!
Would give zero stars if I could. App is completely useless and shouldn’t exist
Awful support and product
They claim to have “hold print” functionality. We have a dozen of these. The app says it’s enabled but the function doesn’t work. Tech support literally says “it’s not supposed to work even if the app says it’s enabled”. Just unreal. And don’t even get me started on their WiFi modules. THEY DONT EVEN ALLOW SYMBOLS! We had to create a separate SSID just for our printers. Even then, they drop connection constantly. Setting them up in the app is one of the least intuitive things I’ve ever encountered. It’s just a shame.

App works fine for me. Via phone and tablet

The lack of support for a printer we have barely had for 2 years is truly awful. They replaced the old utility app for the TSP100III with this garbage and it just flat-out will not recognize the printer. I bet everyone at this company smells bad too.
Old version use to connect new app is garbage
New app is garbage it can find see the printers but fails to connect. Rollback to old app so we can use the printers.

What do you expect from a company who confuses everyone with the way they name their products. I hate this brand, literally hate! I have bought 3 types of their receipt printers… Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc and all have one thing in common… piece of garbage. Never again
Printer does not connect to the app
Honestly, very disappointed with STAR. Tried calling the tech support team and they tell me they don’t know why the printer wont connect to the app… it’s your app and printer, how do you not know? STAR needs to fix /update this app
Doesn’t work
It simply doesn’t work. Can’t find the device via Bluetooth. Can’t scan the QR code to find the printer. Simply doesn’t work. Makes the printer a $200 paper weight.
