Starbrew Cafe: Mystical Merge

I’ve been really obsessed with this game lately 🥰,love the cute art just like the sketches in my sketchbook.The energy is quite annoying as it runs out quickly.I think that we should be able to buy energy using coins.Plus, it gets harder the higher level you are on ,it first starts nice and easy then becomes boring and hard.Somehow it quits the story and chapters like at level 5 & 6 I am currently on level 16. I also think the gems are kinda hard to earn. The game is just like pay $10 and get more supplies. (I use my dad’s account to write reviews).

But all you do is merge items to make them into other items.

I love merge games but absolutely hate ads, and this game only has optional ads :) The art style is absolutely adorable and is what drew me in in the first place. The storyline is great as well, coming from a big fan of fantasy. So this is quite literally the game of my dreams, a merge game with optional ads, a cute art style, and an amazing storyline all tied up together with fantasy. I would give this game a higher rating if I could <3

I don’t often leave game reviews, but I wanted to share the experience I had - I got a pop-up offer to complete a game survey for a reward of 30 gems which I accepted, however the game glitched and refreshed after re-opening the app once I had finished the survey, and I didn’t receive the 30 gem reward. I was a little bummed out since I love this game and had just spent a good 10 minutes doing the survey, so I decided to send an email to the support team to let them know. I figured I probably wouldn’t get a response, or would just get an automated bot reply, but instead I got an email back (from a real person!) apologising for the issue and offering their help to correct the problem and send me the 30 gem reward. I was so pleased since I wasn’t really expecting any kind of response or human interaction! It’s a really positive sign that the developers of this game actually care about the game and content they’re creating and care about their fans, rather than just churning out low-effort content to make money. And it shows too - the art style and attention to detail is gorgeous, and so far the story I’ve progressed through has been unique and entertaining to play.

There’s not even anything to do whilst waiting — or even to participate in the cleaning. I do enjoy the merging but there’s so little energy for things that the game play loop feels pretty hollow — and I can’t contact people because youse have linked that through the Mail app as opposed to just having contact information available. Even if there was a match-three mini game or hell, even ads to watch, to earn energy then I’d at least get to play more. It’d also be cool to get to tap on people in the cafe — pat Saturan or water the plants. Or in the order menu, get a small dialogue. It’s not bad at all, the style is cute though the loading screens are a little rough but yeah, the game just feels empty having nothing to do whilst waiting.

I love this game but i seem to have reached the end and there are no more levels - are you planning on updating?

The gameplay is fun, the graphics are lovely and there’s a good balance between lives regen and opportunities to speed it up. However, the storyline keeps disappearing. Around level 10 it went away, then there was an update which allowed me to read past storylines so I had around 50 to work through and then around level 17 it stopped again. This is a real shame as the characters are all interesting and without the story it’s just a pairs sort of game really. Hoping an update comes through soon which fixes this.

Once again I’ve been clearing out areas without any story progression making it very confusing to catch up when all of a sudden there’s 30+ dialogues to read in one go. The last update didn’t fix this, and while the gameplay isn’t super affected by this, it is annoying and making teaching a goal pretty unsatisfying when there’s no dialogue to be rewarded with. Other than that, of course this game is super cute and fun.

i’ve been playing for a few weeks now and i’ve leveled up quite a lot in short time. the game starts out fun and easy but eventually it just gets boring and hard because you can’t find the exact merges , leaving you powerless and tempted to pay for more. i’ll be honest i’ve spent money on this game too (yes i could not resist the urge) but trust me it’s not worth it because you only have it for so long until it’s gone and you sit there wondering why your bank account is empty .. I love the art style don’t get me wrong, but the storyline ends after a while too and there’s not much you can do that seems worthwhile. if you wanna have a game that you can just sit and swipe on while bored in a waiting room, definitely download it.
