Stash Hub

Prior to finding Stash Hub I cataloged my fabric stash in a binder using fabric swatches. It was difficult to find the fabric I was trying to find and difficult to curate a project or wardrobe. I often bought the same fabric because I forgot I already had it in my stash. Stash Hub has made organizing and locating my fabric a breeze. I am able to plan projects quickly from any of my devices. I no longer buy unneeded fabric because I can see glance what I already own. Stash Hub is constantly improving the app and tutorials are available on the app Facebook page. I highly recommend Stash Hub.

I'm an "out of sight, out of mind person" and this app has been a lifesaver in keeping me from buying fabric I already have and organizing what projects I've already bought fabric for. It also helps me at the fabric store because I can look up the charts in the pattern to see the yardage I need. The magic input makes it very fast to add entries, and the desktop app that syncs with my phone is nice because I don't have to have my phone next to me to see the next project in my queue.

I love the app! The developers and their FB page are great….they are so responsive and listen to suggestions for improvements. So many updates just since I downloaded the app. It helps you keep track of the projects you want to make, store all of your patterns in one place, helps to prevent duplicative purchases, and makes it so much easier to pick your pattern, fabric and necessary notions as well as locate them. Tagging feature allows for additional personalized organization. If you do any amount of sewing, I definitely recommend this app!

I use this app to organize my quilting stash. It’s really brilliant and exactly what I needed. I started logging my stash in a spreadsheet, and then thought, there has to be something out there that someone already invented. Enter Stash Hub. there’s so much to love about this app. One of my favorite features is when you use a fabric in a project recorded within the app, it deducts the fabric used from your logged stash. I never understand people complaining about the $32 fee. It’s clear the creators put a lot of thought into creating this and it is worth every penny. I saved more than the yearly subscription fee just by getting organized and being able to shop from my own stash.

I have tried other apps that were so laggy this one seems to work better. I have not added my entire pattern collection yet so I hope it continues to work. Updates to other devices almost instantly! Really nice.

This is desperately in need of a search and some minor adjustments, like showing fabrics not assigned to a category and tagging on notions, but overall it’s a good app and well worth the money. The bill upload for fabric and patterns is a life saver.

I am taking my time to get to know this app. I did not like using it on my phone but now the iPad display works well. I spend a lot of time scrolling through and improve my entries. I am moving my patterns into this app slowly. I will be honest - it does take some work and time depending on the amount of detail you enter. Luckily that amount is up to you. There a few required fields. It is clear that it is designed with a sewist in mind. I look forward to using it more and to see how it progresses.

I love this app so much!! I pay for the premium version and it is worth every penny to have unlimited fabrics and filters. The development team is super responsive on their Facebook group if you have any questions or concerns. I’d also like to add that it is not free to develop an app or even put it on the App Store. The price is more than fair when considering people’s time and hard work goes into the app.

Like many sewists, I have a lot of patterns and a lot of fabric. I don’t have a ton of space to store either, so it has been a challenge to remember what I own and where it is stored. This app not only allows you to save all of your patterns, categorized for easy retrieval, but also allows you to keep track of all your fabric. Plus, there is a place to keep projects, matching up pattern and fabric. If you have fabric left over, you can record how much of your original yardage is remaining. This is really just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what you can store, and there are fields that can be used in a way that makes sense to you. I think it is very reasonably priced for all that it can do, and I would recommend it to anyone.
