Too slow

Slow to open. Sometimes it won’t event open. Have to restart a lot.

I get kicked out of the STRATIS app at least once or twice per week. And then have to manually email them to reset my device. I’m decently tech savvy & have the IPhone 15 pro max, I’ve never had an app have so many issues. I can’t get in my gate or apartment because of it. My “ticket” has been escalated for a month or more, but the Stratis team still can’t fix the bug. It’s a nightmare.

My apartment complex had these new locks installed a couple weeks ago and it hasn’t been a great experience. It’s nice to not have to carry keys around, but the app takes a while to connect to the lock. It takes forever to actually get into my apartment, which isn’t fun when I work late nights. I feel very safe where I live, but if I lived in a sketchy neighborhood I would be terrified to have this lock. There’s a few other “what if” scenarios that make me a little nervous, but the time it takes to lock and unlock the door is my biggest complaint.

When it works it’s great, when it doesn’t it’s infuriating. I’d rather have reliability over inconsistent technology. My apartment complex has had repeated issues with this app and I hate that I’m required to use it. I called support to get help per the guidance of my complex and Stratis told me to call my apartment. Thanks for nothing. Would love to login so I can change my thermostat.

Might I suggest that we be able to use our Apple Watch to unlock our doors and that the whole system be Apple Home Certified so we can use the built in Apple Home App that’s on every single iPhone?

Takes ages to connect to a lock and unlock it

The app has to much lag.

Unfortunately the app and need is understandable but the real world use is not efficient. The load time is to long and the connection between app and door needs to be faster. There are times where I could have taken out my key and accessed my place prior to the app even giving me the option to open the door. Again not including the process to engage the lock. Either great in concept and need but real world use is inefficient.

It constantly signs me out every single time I go to use it, refuses to save my password which means I block traffic trying to sign into this awful app every single day. Most garbage app I’ve ever had the displeasure to use. My apartment forced this app on us and disabled our key fobs we used to open the garage door before. Not only that but the app also constantly signs me out and it can only be signed back in after consulting with my apartment. Meaning that half the time I come home I find that I’m locked out of my home and have to wait for someone else to let me in.
