Stronger By The Day has been my A1 since day 1! I was a complete beginner in the gym but was really interested in weight lifting but just didn’t know where to start. I discovered Meg on YouTube and that’s really where my strength training journey began… learning how to squat. It will be two years next month since I started using Stronger By the Day. And they’re not kidding…you really get stronger by the day! I had to take 8 months off of the gym in 2023, when I first started SBTD. I got back into it the beginning of 2024 and very quickly made a lot of progress and huge gains. Did I mention this is app is super affordable? Less than a grande latte at Starbucks. What I love most about the app is it does all the work for me (and I’m a super busy lady). I love SBTD SO much and I’m always recommending it to friends and family. I’m so thankful for SBTD and Meg’s mission to get a barbell in the hands of every woman. I have not only gotten so much stronger since using the app, but gained so much confidence and I feel young again! So, if you’ve been on the fence, do it. You will not regret it.
Great program, buggy app
The quality of the program is fantastic and a steal for this price tbh. Great workouts that are challenging and I like the way it tracks progress.
Unfortunately the app is buggy and inconsistent. I’m currently trying to save a workout, hitting the save button over and over, and nothing happens. I can navigate in the app, it’s not frozen, it’s just not saving. This has happened a few times before
Perfect for beginner and experienced lifters
I’m not new to weightlifting, but this app is still teaching me a lot. I love that they’re substitutes for everything. Everything about this app makes it super easily understandable, and accessible to everyone. It is so worth a subscription to not have to worry about having to look up the science and plan workouts myself. I feel a lot better knowing that these workouts are based on the best current science. I only go 3x a week and am one month in and I’ve already increased my squat and bench pressby 30+ lbs!
Long Time User of App
As a mom with chronic health issues, this app has been amazing for years in helping me get stronger at my own pace. I used to program for myself, but once I found SBTD (before the app), I was hooked! Love the app as well!

I literally love this app so much! Linear training. Various cycles. Barbell. Powerlifting. Added conditioning option. Ability to trailer training frequency and an at home and express option. SAY LESS!!! Don’t sleep on Meg and her programming. If you’re new to lifting or are a seasoned meathead. This app is it.

I have been following Stronger by the Day for over 5 years. When I started using this program, I was a former college athlete who was missing the connection with others and a set program. My fitness and health suffered. I have since grown more knowledgeable in my fitness, using a barbell, and connecting with a whole community that gets it! I have been through shoulder and knee surgeries in my past and this program helps be do things right, at my pace and following my body. I have seen countless health and fitness gains using this program, so do yourself a favor and download this app. It’s worth every bit of time and money!!
Not here for the barbell exactly BUT…
I just love the way the app challenges me with the progression of sets and reps by recording my work and I also LOVE how the work outs change daily! I just workout out from home and I am as challenged as when I used to go to the gym. I absolutely LOVE this app!!
Solid program
I’m an experienced lifter with a very limited home gym. I haven’t been able to do to my primary sport super frequently lately so I’ve been using the app when I can squeeze in a workout and to keep up injury prevention strength training. It saves a lot of time searching for workouts or writing them myself. Workouts are well-rounded, there are always modifications to accommodate my equipment, the express version can be knocked out in 30 min, and I love that I can see my previous weight on exercises to try and beat them. Best workout app I’ve tried.
