Subcap is a mobile app that allows users to make videos accessible with AUTO SUBTITLES by shooting videos simultaneously or uploading videos from their phones’ photo galleries. It automatically detects and TRANSCRIBES the audio to text you can edit or copy. Subcap’s auto-captions maker uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate subtitles with high accuracy. According to the selection, subtitles can be added in different colours, fonts or positions.
You can also automatically TRANSLATE subtitles created in the language of your video into other languages and add a new subtitle to your video. Subcap uses machine translation to detect more than one hundred languages. You can also add two different subtitles in two different languages to your video.

Accurate👌🏾
I discover it new. I was looking for a subtitle app which supports longer videos and finally found it! I like the ui, very easy and practical.Thanx❤️
Not trial friendly!
I wanted to try this app and see if I can use this for adding subtitles to my video. I was testing several apps to see which I’m had the option to manually add subtitles, not audio translate. I’m a new deaf content creator and need to try which features work for me. This app requires you to subscribe for the features I was looking for, so I did. Once he trial was over, they charged me. They will not refund you back even if you try to cancel the day of trial ends. This app didn’t even have the feature I needed, so disappointing for a huge chunk of money. Beware of this app!
UI doesn’t fit on iPhone SE
The button on the second screen of the intro carousel is off the bottom of the screen on my iPhone SE. I can’t advance into the app.
They are great
Had an issue with their update not displaying milliseconds and I reached out to them and they did what they could to fix it , did I expect that ? Nope . But they did it , shouts out to the devs for putting the people first .
Excellent and Fast
The layout is intuitive and the voice recognition software is among the best, if not THE best I’ve tried. Great job!
Terrible
No real instructions. Icons/features not explained. No way to undo changes. Basically, a mess. Don’t get this app!

Forces you to create a $3.99/week account after a brief free trial, with no way to manage subscription in-app.
Will not translate
it will not translate Portuguese videos into English subtitles through auto generation.
