Subscriptions - Track Expenses

Overall I really like this app. I’ve been looking for a replacement for Bobby, which I’ve been using for years, because it has notification bugs that still haven’t been fixed, and still doesn’t support iPad. Subscriptions is a great replacement. It has iCloud sync, iPad support, split view/slide-over support, dark mode, and a beautiful responsive UI. Adding new subscriptions via the App Store share extension is a great time-saver. The in-app subscription is very reasonably priced and well worth it to support the developer. I have a few feature requests and bug reports: Bug: When creating or editing a subscription on iPad, if you switch to a different app and then return back to subscriptions (even just a few seconds later), the subscription you were editing is completely lost - if it was new it’s gone and if it was an existing sub, the edits you were making are lost. It seems like the app has a bug with state restoration when switching back to the app. Add an option to display the payment method in the main subscriptions list and also to display the note, if populated. Add average expense total at the bottom of the main subscription list so you can quickly see average expenses per week/month/year (separate to the existing analytics view). It would be great if we could configure a default notification time for reminders. It would save time having to adjust the reminder time each time you create a new subscription. E.g. I always want my reminders at 10am. The developer website link on the App Store page opens to a blank website with no info or details about the app. It would be great if there was a way to submit feature requests and bug reports without having to signup for Reddit, e.g. a contact email address for the developer.

Really useful for analytics of your subscriptions and reminders of when subscriptions are due

Needs the ability to sort "tags and categories" automatically. Also needs the ability to sort by "monthly and yearly" due dates.

Does what the description says. Reminders work well.

Easy App to use. Practically fills all the info from the App Store. The life time payment is great offer for this app offers.

I like the app so far, but it seems to focus on a slightly different use case than mine. I don’t really care about due dates, categories, start dates, renewals, or reminders. Instead, I would like the app to show me the *prorated” cost of each subscription. Convert them to the same currency and same length of time. This is extremely important information to help me understand the true cost of each item and determine if it’s worth it. Don’t make category a required field. I don’t need it. It’s just an annoying step that I can’t skip and a waste of time while entering every single subscription. Please make it optional. Oh, and thank you for making both iOS and macOS versions! Entering data on the Mac is so much easier.

Almost there. I thought that adding payment accounts would actually let you connect to a selected financial institution, but it doesn’t really.
